New Zealander here, I don't blame India. India is in a very tough and complex situation. To come out openly against Russia will only strengthen the China/Russian alliance further putting India at risk of war. Its easy for us in the west to sit back when China or Russia isn't our next door neighbor. But for India the threat is real and on their doorstep. Many people in the west jeer at New Zealand for wanting to take a passive approach but it has preserved us as a nation, so its understandable that India is wanting to do the same.

WRONG! I used to like this channel but now I realize this channel is biased. The Ukrainian Notzy regime massacred their own (*mostly Russian*) civilians and blamed it on the Russians. The Russians have been distributing tons of food and humanitarian supplies to the Ukrainian people. You don't hear that in the MSM News, do you?! So then why would they bother to feed them if they were just going to turn around and kill them? That's stupid and so is anyone who believes the official narrative of western pr0pa-ganda. People need to wake up to the lies (and soon!) or we're ALL going to be controlled by a single world government (N.W.0.) at which point you can kiss your privacy, freedoms and liberties good bye! Well, many have already said that about Switzerland😉
Switzerland was not automatically forced to make any reparations for this, but had to make a lot of declarations and did so. That went on until the 1990s.
At the height of this political crisis, in December 1996, the Swiss parliament and government commissioned a commission made up of nine internationally renowned experts headed by the Swiss historian Jean-François Bergier to research Switzerland's economic and financial relations with the warring states of the Second World War During the Second World War and as a result of the restitution measures taken by the state in the post-war period, assets were unlawfully brought to Switzerland.

While the US did quite a few wrong things in the Middle East, it hid them from its own people as well as the world. With modern weapons in the mix, it’s nearly impossible to go to war without civilian casualties. The US never showed itself doing war crimes ‘on purpose’. Civilians were killed, yes, but never as part of a systematic, deliberate, policy. Russia, on the other hand, has basic let its soldiers commit war crimes openly. What’s different isn’t just what they did but what they said. If we let Russia continue as is, we tell the world that a country can order its soldiers to commit war crimes and get away with it.

I'm Russian. I think India did the right thing by abstaining from voting. Firstly, this Indian vote would not have been able to help Russia in any way, because everything was already decided in advance at the UN, even before the vote and without any investigations. Thus, India would have just needlessly brought trouble upon itself, in the form of some kind of sanctions on the instructions from Washington. Secondly: friendliness is proved not by words, but by deeds. Not with a voice in the assembly, but with support in real life. Russia understands and appreciates this.
This whole human rights assembly is nothing more than a soap bubble inflated from Washington. We all understand that they care about human rights the least, the main thing for them is to demonstrate their loyalty to Biden.
Russia will somehow survive this exception. The main thing is that Russia has friends in real life.
