You guys are almost perfect in a koi talk show.
Thank you!
Hey pond digger when are you going to take a trip to Japan with Shawn. It would be an awesome story, not only the koi but the ramen too.
I am excited about the day we make the trip to Japan! Hopefully later this year
Are you going to do any more pond building or pond gone wrong videos? I so enjoyed them.
We need to! Stay tuned!
I want to get koi for my swimming pool ( Koi pool ) in my yard. What are your filter type/style recommendations??? and do you make your own food or have any vids on food/feeding?
Hi just wanted to ask a question about how much salt I should add to my pond to get it to 0.1 which you said in a previous video my pond is 1902.3 gallons of 7200 ltr s the water in my area is medium to soft 🇬🇧 and what salt would you recommend on eBay as that’s where I do all my shopping thank you 😊
The ponddigger i have A serious question. Some Koi have like A black bottom while the fish is normally full white (platinum Ogon) The fins etc are all white but its only the bottom of the fish. It black Turns white when sun shines on iT. Its weird and do you have any idea? Thanks
Please tell me how to grow first koi?
And what is best food for koi ?
Could you do a koi discussion about Aka Matsuba and how to select them as a tosai? 🙏🏽
One of these days we might get that video done
Eric I’m NOT trying to tell you what to do bro but you should change your title to these videos to (Explaining Color Patterns on Large Japanese Koi). 😁👍🏼 The video has nothing to do with HOW to grow large Koi. Lol.
👍
How's Shawn doing??
Nothing about growing big koi... just explaining what it takes to it to be a great koi, whit the body for getting big.
Love the video! But the name of the video don’t match the video.
Keep up the good work!
Greetings from Holland!
Gr. Jeroen
Thank you for the feedback.
@@ThePondDigger answer the qwestion
I agree but I love this video
You didn’t talk about how to grow the fish ??
I got to admit there a lot calmer than mine
cnw/union pacific trains they put stuff (I forget what it’s called) in the water to calm them down. They mentioned it in part 1
Hello uncle, just for fun, how about make videos that pretend we are in a final contest judgement. from three fish candidate we should choose the chosen one as a grand champion! Greetings from Indonesia.. *suggestion from your loyal student either subscriber lol
ooooohhhh God!!!!!!!!!!!! 😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜
It might be a trick of the light, but the smaller one to the right appears to have an asymmetrical line between the head and the body, receding on the left side, so I am puzzled as to why Shawn uses it as an example of the perfect U-shape that koi should have.
Interesting observation. Could be a visual anomaly from the camera angle. Shawn is very sensitive about making sure the koi look good on camera
@@ThePondDigger Exactly, which is why it is strange. I assume the camera was pretty close (5-6' ?), although the lines of the container and measuring sticks do look straight. And if you look at 1:12 you can see what appears to be a clear difference between the two koi. But it could also be the change in color from red to orange-red rather than the "U"-line itself. However, when you draw lines between the eyeballs and between the two [mustache taps] (insert Japanese word here) the lines would indicate that the head is slanted towards the right of the fish. But I agree that could be a fisheye effect, if you pardon the pun.

What happened to you man? No more Pond building Videos? Are you still in business?
I've grown my fish 18 plus inch in a year. I think I would feed them like 10 times a day.
And that Florida Weather is amazing for growing fish!
what's all that got to do with HOW TO GROW Massive KOI?
The secret is in the details of how this fish won a grow out contest even though it was in a small pond during the grow out contest. It is explained in the video with temperature and water changes
Simple, get a massive pond to grow massive Kohaku.....
Sounds like a perfect plan but if you really listen to the feedback in the video you will learn that is not the only way to get it done!
