  • We think we understand the physical world but we do not. For example, some features of the world are derived from others, which makes the latter more fundamental and the former less so. Some scientists believe that only science can tell us how things work. Philosophers do not agree. Do philosophers see things that scientists cannot?

    Thats funny, having an atomic weight only makes sense if you have an atom. Existence of atom like electron is theory dependent, so ultimately the "atomic weight of gold is 72" is also theory dependent. It is no more fundamental than the existence of an electron.

    Anyone can share his or her opinion about what they experience from their subjective point of view but only a few of us were chosen to testify to the voice of the Lord and learn exactly how God created us within His thoughts and used some very sophisticated technology to convert those thoughts into a simulation program.
