Not at all. Pretty common to see people fighting for the good cause a couple of years, then switch to the money-side of the exact same cause. They all start with hope and at some point realize, humans don't really want the change so screw it, let's go for the money.

AI is just to get you to a number of drug candidates. Once you get there, it's back to traditional trials.
I suppose there are other AIs that test each drug molecule and filter out dangerous stuff.
we're not skipping the test and trials phase, we're using it to search and imagine. human invented new experimental drugs also need rigorous testing.
Of course AI medicine. Just the the other day, I was getting an AI haircut, and my AI barber was saying... "Why don't we have AI medicine?" Then I put on my AI jacket and went for an AI walk. I thought deeply about this and realized that AI was the answer to everything.
