Resetting worked on Fire Stick too. Issue only in 4K - picture will only work with audio description for the hearing impaired.

Ok I think I figured it out. I would get the black screen when I had my video setting of my Apple TV on HDR10. When I switch to SDR, the picture returns. I don’t know why it happens. But this worked for me.

Factory reset won't solve it, it's the app, not the device. You might have to delete the app and reinstall it.
