i don't feel as bad for you as i should. if you can make a youtube channel successful. then you really don't need a partner then. periood, nothing else to say, too often new youtubers come out and they partner with these evil companies thinking its the only way to get seen these days. how often people online have come out with horror stories about partners. how many videos have been maid to warn us. how many years has this been happening?
i get for you their is the extra level of the visa but, you took a legal loophole to get citizenship and didnt think about what if this company screws me over like anyone should do. if i can leave you with 2 bits of advice most anyone can use then here they are:
1. never rely on a business or another person to get you a citizenship or visa and not expect to be owing the people the rest of your life. yes their are good people and organization that can help the process but 7 times out of 10 your going to be exploited in some way. some people might threaten to revoke your visa for bad mouthing them, will make claim to your income, if they know you did no research in how things legally work in the US then they will manipulate you into predatory contracts that will be legally binding and will be up held by the law, even if its something like you owe them 20k a month. if you don't pay you'll get put away, you don't work today we take your visa away, all the kind of threats these companies and people will do. as easy as it can be to get here that way it is also a way to assure that you will live stressed constantly worried. instead of living the full dream you wanted that you could've had if you did things the right way instead of the easy way.
2. if you are able to get a youtube channel to 10k subscribers then you don't need a mcm or partner. a lot of people try to make these partner programs look good, like they work. like they actually care, how ever, most the time these companies are taking your money, and not required legally to give you good service and 65% of the time your stuck doing the same work your paying them to do, your reaching out and getting your own sponsors, setting up your own colabs, making your own connections, most the time creating your own filming crew/situation. they legit are companies that are built on lying to upcoming creators to help syphon a bunch of cash without needing to put much work in at all.

They were what every successful CZcams channel used for advertising revenue and sponsorships with Omnia Media being a major player. Things are obviously different now and as the saying goes 'Hindsight is 20/20'.
Your reply comes across as condescending and patronising mate. Lewis is an intelligent lad and like many other creators with variously sized and highly successful channels, he's being screwed over by Omnia Media. Omnia Media's theft of multitudes of creators earnings is reprehensible as CZcams has paid Omnia Media. Omnia Media has chosen not to pass on the payments as they'd done regularly for years prior, now just flat out stealing all these creators money!

I haven't heard of Omnia ever since they got hacked and every creator signed to Omnia had all their videos titled something like "hacked by Our Mine."

This is why Iâve never liked the idea of a media network. Itâs just an unnecessary middleman. Maybe they can provide you with recourses to help with your CZcams journey, but I wouldnât trust some company with my work.

Honestly, most talent agencies these days, outside of big film industries and Japan, are struggling because of the fact that their roles as 'middle-men' have become semi-redundant due to the level of advancements in modern communication. So, no wonder they are desperately trying to stay afloat by scamming people. Really hope you are paid your dues.

I've heard a lot of creators talk about needing an MCN back in the day, but I think I joined the partner program around '08- 09 and remember it being a pretty similar process to today. You got invited to the partner program, set up an adsense account, linked your bank and got paid. What am I missing? DO MCNs pay you extra or something?
I'll also say, I'm not trying to downplay what's happened to these creators. It's freaking terrible.

in the US, basically everyone gets screwed during bankruptcy. i'm simplifying, you sort of form a line with every single other person that is owed money, and the Judge for t he bankruptcy court decides who gets how much. and a lot of people will get literally nothing. and its almost never fair in terms of who gets paid out. If Omnia was a US corp, i'd say they were hoarding money before the go to court so they have more to pay off lenders with and themselves.
It's like the "mommy's group" from School on WhatsApp... but the moms are all kind of CZcamsrs and everyone is poor and going broke.
