Rammstein is legendary..they are more than just another rock band...Till Lindemann isn't just another singer. He is an artist..a poet..a lyrical genius .. Christian "Flake" Lorenz (keyboardist) said.“Till radiates complete authority in my eyes" “When he sings or says something, you realize that he also means it. That makes the whole song a lot more precious. Especially since there are singers who say or sing just about anything because it sounds good. With Till, you know that he means it.”

The bassline in Rammlied certainly sounds great, but many seem to overlook that Flake's synth which plays along with it is what makes it sound extra special.
@@prodigy84bg definitely, Rammstein sounds so great because they work so well together and nobody wants to show only what he can do, they see the ensemble and do all that is needed to make it sound amazing ❤️

The legendary return. They had stopped touring the US after they were arrested for a show(one song - Buck Dich), hugely anticipated return for this show. Was nearly impossible to get tickets IIRC and this opened the show

You can check out „Diamant“ live, it is also not a headbanger but a beautiful ballad with very deep meaning (like all their songs). I really love these powefull songs like Rammlied, but i also appreciate these rare slowly songs from time to time, that‘s what makes them so special for me

Seen Rammstein multiple times live, going to see them later this year in Groningen.
As a non native yet very much fluent German speaker I thought to give a translation of the lyrics to this song. Translating the nuances and often double or tripple meanings in the lyrics is very challenging since Mr. Lindemann is a poet, songwriter and artist in a language that is brimming with words sounding alike that are rhimed to converge, confuse and / or redirect meaning. Also, recurring themes are German history, social commentary on historical and current events as wel as a search for meaning. Most songs are BIG beyond their direct lyrics. Ok so that was a big time cop out to say....My German is very good, you all deserve a translation right here but hey, i might miss something. Think or sing your RAMMSTEIN's when appropriate.

Rammlied is an awesome headbanger and could be the Rammstein anthem but I will always think about Ramm4 as THE Rammstein anthem. Maybe because that song was never released and only concert-goers know about it (nowadays, with youtube everyone but still, not on an album)

hi, i really recommend their another song called Pussy, for me the best live version is Madison Square Garden in 2010 (you can absolutely watch the official video, you'll find uncensored version on the internet😉) also this song is mix of english and german, so subtitles would be great to understand the content. have a nice day
