THIS LGBT WRESTLING PPV SCAMMED IT'S OWN WRESTLERS!

- Transgraps Wrestle Queerdom was a historic Wrestling PPV IN 2022 which scammed all it's wrestlers. Some really shady stuff went down with the booker unable to pay any of the wrestlers. The booker was a 23 year old who was in way over their head, their mum had to take out a bank loan to run the show. The PPV was terrible due to several wrestlers pulling out of the show. Many of the wrestlers were green, there were no storylines, way too much comedy and it only drew a crowd of 150. The show featured TNA & AEW wrestlers along with famous JOSHI wrestler Veny. But the whole thing was a scam and wrestlers were left stranded after the show unable to get home. Nobody was paid and had to rely on fan donations to survive this tragedy.

This is proof of how bad independent wrestling can be. Not everything is like the old ROH or PWG, CZW or anything like that, those are the more glamorous indies. There's a lot of really bad wrestling out there with plenty of botches, out of shape performers, virtually no audience, bad planning and terrible production. I wouldn't even call it amateur, just bad.
These bad indies are basically just glorified backyard wrestling lol
I mean... Chikara was basically supposed to be bad wrestling but the quality of the performers and the comedy saved it. So, bad wrestling isn't the worst thing at times.
@@gian3008 Chikara was meant to be comedy wrestling. Bad indie wrestling is when the talent sucks, the booking sucks and the budget is so low it's basically backyard wrestling.
I mean we didn't need proof but yeah it more shows just cause everyone is part of a minority group doesn't magically make them good wrestlers
What do you expect from a bunch of mental cases ran by a clown? I mean this is dog sh*t but even botches are a part of wrestling. CZW had plenty, and let’s be real, most of what they did wasn’t wrestling. It was psychotic stunts (which I like watching, don’t get me wrong) but you’re biased in your opinion. Even ECW was ran like shit half the time and the booking was mediocre a lot, however the talent put their everything into what they did which is the only reason that company stayed around for as “long” as they did. Plentyyyy of botches in that company as well. Shit I can’t watch a single WWE event without seeing females botch a move
“Everyone deserves to be happy and thats as much thought as I’ll ever give it” - if everyone followed this type of mentality the world would be such a better place fr. Marky a real one

@@paulghignon4092 yeah it’s very unfortunate and it’s not a realistic expectation to just have people act cordial to others nowadays, I will say personally most of the people I’m friends with who are LGBTQ have been pretty relaxed / normal people who just wanna be left alone. But then you do unfortunately have the loud ones who always tend to be the most radically opinionated. Honestly if I ever made enough money to do so someday, I’d def wanna do a concept like this just to show people that it can be done THE RIGHT way. I feel strongly gay people and trans people have been accepted / ingratiated into the wrestling community somewhat well as of late. Aside from a few hiccups. The problem is when we divide OURSELVES away from everyone else. We end up alienating ourselves away from the rest of society. Which isn’t a positive outcome for anyone who’s gay, bi or transgendered.
Take people like Anthony Bowens, Leyla Hirsch, Mercedes Martinez, Shayna, Tegan Nox. These are people who’ve had loads of success ingratiated into the wrestling community.

Tbh this is typical Indy event bullcrap, its just more notable since its a very lgbtq+ friendly event. Indy events both past and present usually tend to not draw enough money to pay wrestlers, or the runner had no intentions of paying the talent they hired, since its not a contract and instead a handshake deal, the promoter unfortunately has the legal right to screw people over like this. This is why indy wrestling shows are such a huge gamble for the performers. This is why indy companies like Ring of Honor is so beloved, they actually have respect for the business and talent
This looks Much worse than the local indy promotion I watched in SE Texas

Pro tip for anyone who gets a great idea for a wrestling show and wants to run it: Don't.
It is extremely difficult from both a logistical and financial standpoint even if you have sufficient prior experience in event organization, you WILL have unforeseen problems occur at the last moment that ruin any plans you had, and if it fails you won't get conciliatory headpats for "realizing your dream", you will get a ruined reputation and a lot of potential legal and personal trouble that will follow you around for years. And, if your motivation is to try and draw awareness to something like this was, you may end up doing more harm than good by putting out a product so bad that it damages the image of the cause you were trying to aid.
I have history with this show, and it has nothing to do with actually watching it. I paid Sally/TransGraps $5 to have a 5 minute virtual meet and greet with Kidd Bandit, and in that video call we had, she was one of the first (and at the time only) person that believed in my dream of becoming a pro wrestler.
Bandit is one of the nicest and most humble people in the wrestling world today, and I'll always keep that meet and greet in mind whenever I get far into the business.
So yeah, something good came out of this show on my side. It's unfortunate that this show was a disaster because the heart was in the right place, it's just that Sally didn't put in the work or the effort to make it successful. Maybe one day a more compatent promoter will finally give this idea another shot.
The fact that Jeff Hardy had to watch Transgrap Presents Wrestle Queerdom, so he made sure nobody was stealing his Swanton Bomb Finishing Maneuver, only to find out that his Swanton Bomb Finishing Maneuver had been stolen again (not even finishing the match), is equal parts sad and funny.

This show is why many see LGBT in a negative light, the victim mentality in the majority in the limelight is insane (I'm part of the community myself so I'm gonna say it)
Thank you!
I genuinely couldn't care if someone is trans, but the whole victim mentality really makes it hard to be supportive of the community unfortunately.
@@demonboygaming3024 that's dumb like all over the US there is a massive backlash against trans people Both by Republican law makers and right wing groups and individuals ofc you are going to feel like a victim if you're being victimised
You mean the same exact victim mentality within non-LGBT people? LOL This comment gives a lot of "i'm gay, but still a white man, so I have it a bit easier yet won't ever admit it." This whole entire era of pro wrestling has the victim mentality in the limelight, yet it's LGBT people's issues?
@demonboygaming3024 thats the thing I can say as someone in it were not all that way, I can't stand most wrestlers where their sexuality or gender is all they have, for every Anthony Bowens (who I love in the acclaimed) there's Sonny Kiss, Nyla Rose and most of the people on this show, where their ONLY trait is their sexuality and gender
To be fair, they are kinda victims because of how society (and even our lawmakers) treat them.
Saw a story of a bullied LGBT middle schooler being beaten to death in the school bathroom and all the news sites kept wording things so vaguely about it to minimize how heinous it sounds.
Isn't nyla rose theoretically the first transgender champion? Won the womans championship in 2020 in AEW and it is known she is a trans woman.
@@TheSleepyJoe why misgender someone when you yourself act like a giant minge?
Depends if chyna was but I think hers was from male hormone therapy
Nyla Rose is the first trans champion of a major title from a major US-based company. Gisele Shaw won the Pro Wrestling Eclipse Flame Championship in 2018.
Shaw would go on to win a major championship for herself two days after Rose claimed the AEW World Women's Championship, getting herself the Rev Pro British Women's Championship.
@@scottmorrison3929 Thanks for the details. I know many different promotions but I'm so busy I dont keep up with them much atm.
@@leegregory7893 Oh, I don't follow them, either! I thought Rose was first, too. I learned this by looking into Shaw, because I didn't know she was trans lol
I think the LGBT theme is fine. But take a non-professional person and of course it won't be a success.
The entire problem here is lack of professionalism.
God what a wretched event. It was bad live. The booker made it even worse
Did you watch it live?
I imagine jeff hardy watching the transgraps wrestle queerdom and beeing mad about somebody stealing his swanton bomb again lmao
Saying somebody stole it but I am not sure what 😂
Why are they all built poorly? Do any of them hit the gym ever?
typical "Athletic" LGBT+ body build I'm afraid. Most athletics I have seen who are "openly Trans" just seem to use it as a way to hand wave the fact that they are out of shape.
Koto was the best physique
The Jeff Hardy swanton bit had me legit lathing, the timing was perfect lol
it's almost as if selling a wrestling show based solely on a single point of people's identities instead of actual wrestling talent doesn't make a good wrestling show by default. it's the type of stuff that would be called out in the late 2010s, it has no place happening in this fashion in the 2020s. it didn't showcase what queer wrestlers could do, it did the exact opposite for the most part, the same goes for the booker
I'm all on board for an LGBTQ wrestling pay-per-view. (I hate both left-wing and right-wing politics equally, so please, no arguing-I'm not interested.) But you need to make sure the wrestling is actually good if you want me to pay for and watch it.
Best way to look at this my friend
This was painful to watch.. a scam company created to take advantage of idiots so I suppose they got most of the modern day wrestling vibe down on atleast THAT.... funny how all these places shout inclusion yet don't like straight people at their events though :O how STRANGE.
I saw this on Facebook but I think it sums them up fairly accurately. (I'll tone down the offensive language though)
"The LGBTQIA++ Community like to throw around buzzwords like tolerance and inclusion, but are beyond intolerant of anyone who doesn't fit their agenda or disagrees with it.
They scream insults like x-phobe, bigot or nazi, when in reality, they are the intolerant fascists demanding everyone give them attention, put them on a pedastal and agree with them."
Lmao been waiting for someone to cover this 😂
Thought you would reference Bagwell's "2 gay guys" promo at some point 😅
Your commentary on this video is hilarious 😂😂😂
Cool, now can we get back to wrestling we all actually care about instead of this cringe dumpster fire?
5:28 not sure if that's body acne or monkey pox
Too much pizza, not enough gym.
Seriously i thought it was something like scabies
Ngl it looks like Syphilis
Maybe its proof nobody wants to see this kind of thing.
Maybe stick with the good old family friendly wrestling events.
Woke anything doesn't typically sell.
I wouldn't say that. I wouldn't watch, but if they want to keep trying this, they're allowed to. If it keeps failing, it's on them.
@@HonkHonkler Just look at companies like Budweiser, All this woke nonsense fails every time, Nobody wants to see it. Good way to loose money.
