It’s obvious he thought it would be easy due to the knockdowns. Too much weight. He looks much lighter here and steadier. Fury had something to prove and executed his plan to perfection. It never looked like Wilder had his legs. It was strange. The shot to the side by the eardrum didn’t help. Messed up his equilibrium.

Wilder: my legs were weak from the suit, my trainer actually spiked my drink, fury was using egg weights and glovegate, i drank soda before the fight so my belly felt weird, i sneezed three times before the fight, i ate some candy before the fight so that also affected my belly, I actually had covid before covid was a thing which made it hard to breath, my toes were a little sweaty causing me too lose balance and my hands were sweaty which caused my hand to slip out of the glove..

A lot of people would have beaten Mike Tyson. Tyson never fought anybody. He fought Larry Holmes when Holmes was retired and didn’t train for 2 years. He fought spinks when spinks was also retired, and spinks wasn’t a heavyweight anyway. Prime Mike struggled against terrible taller fighters like Mitch Green and bone crusher smith, and terrible speed fighters like James Tillis. And the tillis and green fight were only 10 round fights because the promoters knew Tyson couldn’t go 12 rounds against them. Tyson was a whole different fighter after 6 rounds. Any actual fighter that could go more than 6 rounds would eat Mike Tyson alive. Tyson’s greatest victory was against Razor Rudduck, and he’s barely a top 100 fighter.

first fight was dull & great fights at this level are made by great fighters. Wilder is defined by his two wins against the glacially slow "old man" (no birth certificate) ortiz & fury is defined as great because he bored his way to a points win over "old man" (not great to begin with) who couldn't pull the trigger VK. & both of them avoiding "gunshy" AJ who got smashed by a fat, mexican bloke who, if he was lean & fit, would barely make cruiser.
