He never landed flush on the jaw full power. He landed a short right hand that wasn’t able to fully extend to the top of head that put fury down the first time Saturday night. Second time was a shot on the ear/top side of the head. Trust me, if he had landed a fully extended right hand to the jaw, we would know, because nobody in the world is getting up from that. By round 7 he had lost his power AND speed anyway. Wilder has no cardio. To be honest I think since the knockdown happened in round 12 of the first fight that’s why fury was able to get up. Fury has never entered the ring without his skills , sometimes it took a punch or two to wake him up but after that its game on. He's just born to fight, something you can't train for. There isn't a HW out there that can beat him. Life beat him down, but he got back up and is winning that battle now. Think if he never had stopped training ??? The only person that can beat him is himself. Just like the Man he is named after. No one stood a chance against Mike until after Cus passed away. Both had and have super human skills but the mind can be fragile ... it has nothing to do with weakness, Life can bring the greatest to their knees.

If he was born a decade later, he'd be the next (after Fury) king of the ring. It's like all of those great players during the era of Michael Jordan -- knowing that they'd had to settle for second place. It's like those great AFC teams during the 1985-1998 era who knew that -- even if they won the AFC Championship -- they'd still lose to the NFC Champions in the Super Bowl.
