This show was so special… bought tix last minute and it was the best I have ever seeing the band.
Larry Mullen we salute you 👏🥁. One of the best and perhaps underrated drummers of the last 40 years, I never tire of hearing Streets live and that drumming!

bionicbigfoot He’s a legend to me and I’ve been a fan for many years, but I’m a drummer and many have said to me over the years that he’s not that great. It’s like the Edge haters too. I’m just saying that some don’t rate him but I bloody do! 👍🥁

Its crazy to think that I at the time this concert tool place, I lived not too far from Angel Stadium. My brother and I stayed while my parents went to this concert. My brother and I got curious and went outside and I remember that the concert was loud enough that I could hear the music U2 was playing. Although it was so faint. I just remember hearing everything. Bono's singing and the crowds cheers through the night. My brother went back inside, but I just kept listening. I was 8 years old at the time.

i been a U2 fanatic all my adult life. its refreshing to read the wonderful comments here on this post- cause U2 gets slammed so hard so often- it baffles me cause U2 music is so good, i say to myself - how can 'good' be called 'bad'? how is 'good' hated? U2 music is good to the core.

a great version. Bono's voice sounded off snging amazing Grace but then he recovered, Imaging playing the same song over hundreds of times and making it sound fresh everytime? Larrys drumming is crispy and i alwaysloved that chiming guitar effect of the Edge. Great still great.

The Edge is really pl;aying hard in 3rd verse; right after 1st chorus. I 've never heard him play this track like that.
People who dislike or are not interested or wonder what the fuss is about U2 have simply never attended one of their gigs.
Sure each to their own and we all have personal preference/taste but it’s kind of in the same space as people who think the Beatles are overrated/no good. Almost certainly haven’t listened to them.
I’m going off on one here 😀. Ditto people who don’t rate Deep Purple and don’t know they outsold every act on the planet in 1973 the year they split .... and think the only song of note they recorded was Smoke on the Water.
Also think they are a heavy metal band when they are hard rock actually.... Heavy metal appeared in the 80’s ....Purple formed in 1968.
As producer Martin Birch said “Deep Purple were the best at what they did” . Their last album went straight to number one in Germany and Austria. How many bands around today will be packing arenas all over the world 52 years after forming.
