How I Setup My Goldfish Stock Ponds - Prepping For Spring

It's time for a spring cleaning! While my boys were outside playing in the yard, I decided to start cleaning out the stock ponds on the side of my house. I look forward to getting them up and running so that I can move the goldfish in my 40G breeder back outside and get the Ranchu I really want to keep in the 40G tank.
Because I have extra time before the weather is really warm enough to move the fish outdoors, I decided to clean and re-cycle the tanks and filters. Using the Seed product, I should have them cycled pretty quickly anyway, but I don't plan to move fish for another month or so. Hope you enjoy the video. Happy fishkeeping!

I heat up the end my tubing then I stretch it out with a pair of pliers. Then I put it on the Little notch. Then put it in cold water so it seals it.

That’s awesome to hear that you have a pound as well Kagan! I love my ponds. These stock ponds froze over, but my in ground koi pond did ok. It’s been operational all winter.
