    I hint at trying to start a blog but don’t know how to start or blog or what to write about, and JR attempts to get Eric’s teeth fixed and fired in the same breath.

    I cannot thank you enough for all of this information. My husband and I just bought an Apex Nano, and sadly the dealership didn’t go over any of this with us. We live in Alberta, Canada, and it seems like it’s winter 9 months out of the year… So learning how to winterize and De-winterize is huge for us. Keep these videos coming… Us newbies thoroughly enjoy them!!

    I have a 193bhs, every summer I have to re teach myself order of operations to dewinterize and sanitize the fresh water tank and lines even though we use jugs of spring water for drinking. Think I dump the low points and drain from the shower, then sanitize the fresh water and run some through the fixtures until pink is gone, then drain tank since I mostly do full hookups.

    Big thank you!! This is a simple clear demonstration to help us first time around. I appreciate the comment regarding flushing the system BEFORE opening the by-pass to the hot water tank. My truck mechanic was formerly an RV mechanic, but its hard to cover all the bases with him on the phone, He's a busy guy! I like to have the steps written down in my 3-ring camper binder. I think the dealers should include a sheet on this process and not count on us taking the camper into the dealership. We are in NH our dealership is in VT!

    Good video, thanks. But LOL, it is NOT a "hot water heater". You are not heating hot water to make steam. It is a cold water heater, or as it's normally called, a water heater.

    • @KeystoneRVCenter
      @KeystoneRVCenter  Před rokem

      Domestically, water is traditionally heated in vessels known as water heaters, kettles, cauldrons, pots, or coppers. These metal vessels that heat a batch of water do not produce a continual supply of heated water at a preset temperature. Rarely, hot water occurs naturally, usually from natural hot springs. The temperature varies based on the consumption rate, becoming cooler as flow increases.
      Appliances that provide a continual supply of hot water are called water heaters, hot water heaters, hot water tanks, boilers, heat exchangers, geysers, or calorifiers. These names depend on region, and whether they heat potable or non-potable water, are in domestic or industrial use, and their energy source.

    • @KeystoneRVCenter
      @KeystoneRVCenter  Před 2 lety +1

      So the truth is I personally never do. I de winterize with city water pressure
      The small amount of antifreeze in the water pump is not an issue. So after I de winterizer the next time I go dry camping I will fill my water tank up with fresh water. Turn the pump on like normal and spit out what little anti freeze I have in there. It holds almost no noticeable liquid in the pump and I just let it sit in it until I need it. If you really want to flush it you can drop the hose in a water jug at any point and do the same thing.
