Great review. I'm curious about the new 22/23 Kilroy. I love the kilroy and haven't seen anything yet that they are continuing the series. Kilroy was kind of a sleeper board in the Burton line but huge bang for the buck.
Hi! I just bought Burton Free Thinker 157w, but I'm not sure if 157, 160 or 160w would be better. jumping weight 85-90kg 180cm tall 12us. thanks for help
It’s a stiff camber board so be ready for that, I am so used to the hybrid on early rocker boards so took a little getting used. Not great in those super tight undulating tree sections. But for what it’s supposed to do it’s great
I would know 😔 all good, I like taking boards out their element and seeing how they do. Pleasantly surprised with how the Free Thinker handled it once I set the stance back
Hoping to grab some more Burton board when the rep is back around. He is busy with events atm, deep thinker probably would’ve been a better choice for the conditions
How would you say this compares to the yes standard uninc for all-mountain freestyle? I was about to pull the trigger on the Standard uninc but it seems heavy
I’m haven’t actually ridden the standard, but been on the free thinker a few times and usually a little underwhelmed for Whistler. It also feels a little heavy and pretty stiff and full camber. It was a fun board but I kept trying to take it on powder days and it struggled a bit
definitely one of the nicer graphics coming out next year! looks like a hoot!
They’re the best graphics!
I definitely love the old school surf board or long skateboard graphic. I think this is going to be a hot deck just for the graphic alone. lol
The conditions looked awesome. Have a great weekend Chris.
Yewww
Thanks! Have a good weekend too, don’t forget A Day For Jake this Sunday, 13th
Free thinker looks dope this season - kinda want one…
I think my favourite graphics I’ve seen on the free thinker.
YOUR CONTANT IS AMAZING 🤩
Word! Thanks so much 🙏 glad you enjoy it

@@ChrisEyres i think so will see !!
Thanks Chris. Will Whistler host a snowboard Demo Day this spring?
That’s a good question, and I don’t know. I’m leaning towards not, at least not like they used to do them. Maybe a bit more pow key.
@@ChrisEyres thanks for reply. Be safe and enjoy what looks to be another great couple of weeks in Whistler
Yo Chris what's your goto binding angles? 12 and 9 degrees? Tell us about ur current setup. Thx brah!
Depends what I’m riding, at the moment going 15, -15 in the park and 21, -3 for powder/ free ride
D'oh! You should've just ignored the poll results and selected the best board for those conditions. We wouldn't have known! Hahaha...

would love to see an updated review of the deep thinker now that you have tried the tranny finder and t.rice pro

do you ever think to yourself why arent I just riding the orca right now?
Lol, never. I’m not an orca fanboy like most everyone else here. Still really like it, and the Apex Orca is a beast
First! Sup Chris?
Yoooo! Thanks for checking out the vid. They just dropped mask mandates in BC, so that’s pretty exciting. What’s cracking over there?
I'm currently packing and moving from Texas to Colorado next week, thank God! U will have to come visit, would love to have u over!
