Steam & Diesel in the Suburbs. Sat 12/11/16

The first scene shows K190 & D3 639 in push pull with the tait set on 8590 empty cars from Newport to Caulfield. The train was for Caulfield - Moorabbin local shuttles. this was the first time in 12 years that the Tait set hand been out onto the mainline.
The next scene shows the train as it leaves Glenhuntly on the first subtle and then followed shortly later by a Siemens set operating a Frankston service.
The next view shows N471operating the evening down Albury pass as it rounds the bend at Albion.
The final view shows XP2014 with XP2002 on ST23 Sydney to Melbourne XPT at Albion.

I have always wanted the Albion freight tracks to have electrified trains but hope they run the airport rail link on it
