    In 91 finals it also showed what a great passer Jordan was. He averaged 11 assists in these finals. The greatest player I've ever seen and it's not even close. Great scorer, great dunker, great passer, great defender, great competitor that never let a finals series get to a game 7, as a matter of fact only twice in the years that they won championships did the Bulls go to a game 7, in 92 2nd round against Knicks and 98 eastern conference finals against Pacers. *GOAT.*

    Magic never even tried to guard him regularly anymore because he knew Jordan would blow by him. And contrary to the FALSE media narrative that Pippen guarded Magic, It was actually Jordan who still guarded Magic the rest of the series if you watch the full games on CZcams as proof. Especially Game 3. Pippen only guarded Magic for a total of 5 minutes that game. The rest of the game it was Jordan on Magic and in OT with Pippen fouled out on the bench.

      @@user-jm7mm4lo7o MJ haters need to answer just WHO would be able to guard Jordan in today's game ? The challenge to stop Jordan would be harder today without hand checking. I don't believe he would have been launching more 3's ... he would challenge people to stop him going to the basket and would continue with his mid range jumper and fade away around the basket. Both would have been better as the no hand checking rules would have made one more cautious in guarding him close.

      @andgar923 Před 3 lety +4

      @@clydetheglidetop5sgtop10du7 No it aint. Falling for a narrative that's shoved down our throats doesn't make it so. He doesn't create as well as MJ. Most of his assists are hitting the wings, he doesn't do what MJ did in this vid as well. He doesn't have the timing, nor the court vision, nor the ability to break down a defense like MJ. Shit, he can't hang in the air as long as MJ to make some of those timely mid air decisions and last minute drops before landing. Give MJ the same open lanes, 3 feet of space, 15 seconds to pass and he's getting those same passes LeBron does every game with ease.
      LeBron is a more 'willing' passer, sure. He's looking to pass first and foremost and depending on his stats. It's harder to get an assist while in attack mode like MJ because your mentality is to score, that makes it harder to then dish off last second. But MJ has shown that he can easily avg double digits when focusing to pass.

    People need to put this in perspective. The Lakers took the championship in 80, 82, 85, 87 and 88. Detroit obliterated the Lakers in 89 after losing in 7 games in 88, then almost swept Portland in 89. This is what the Bulls had to deal with in order to win.
