      @@LightwerkzGlobal Ah yes, I saw that. But I think the fogs that come on my car (I think it's some "universal" Toyota version) are side specific, such that the left throws more light to the left, and the right throws more light to the right. It's not so much about 80 degree if that light just points straight forward. So I was hoping these would be side-specific. I could understand the SS3 not being side-specific since they are more universal, but the Elite look pretty obviously left and right.

      All preference on which looks better. Yes white is brighter. Yes it's mixed when you have yellow but the yellow fog is directly in front of the car where it should be and the white is down the road for distance. If you aren't concerned about visibility in snow/rain the white seems to be preferred for additional lighting performance for every day use.

    I plan on replacing my ct200h's halogen fog lights and was going to go with OEM toyota/lexus LED replacements but they are a color temp of around 5-6k and I always liked yellow/amber fogs.... blame that to my subie roots..lol. I just found out about DD elite series yellow fogs and they look like a perfect replacement. My question is I've never seen a fog light with such a crisp cutoff let alone color banding at the top.
    Would this not bleed into your headlight and or give you a double cutoff line. IE: I plan on doing a rx350 bi-xenon projector retrofit on my CT, but the fact that the fogs have their own distinct pattern makes me wonder if this is going to be a problem? I've not seen people make complaints but I also know having too much foreground lighting is really bad. This looks like it would light up WELL past the normal amount a fog light does/should...?

    • @LightwerkzGlobal
      @LightwerkzGlobal  Před 2 lety +1

      This is actually the safest bet in terms of lowest amount of additional foreground lighting. All the other top choices such as SS3 Pro, Max, 4Banger NCS, and 4banger HXB all are WAY brighter with taller bands of light. This is your choice for OEM+ output just with a little bit of a boost. Yellow is also a little less bright so its perfect for your needs in my opinion!
