I've had the G-9300 since Nov 2014. Working just fine. Zero issues. If you're planning on buying one, go for it without a moment's hesitation. You'd simply love it. G Shock rocks!

I have the mudman, got rid of the rangeman, sensor button always touching my hand/wrist,lesser screen contrast than mudman,more weighty and less confortable than the mudman on my wrist,can use my mudman with more outfits than rangeman because how the rangemam looks with that fake screws,and i much prefer moon phase for astronomy and fishing than barometer,altimeter and sunrise/sunset.This mudman is the perfect g shock for me.
Not only that, the all the 4 lugs on my Rangeman broke within 3-4 years, now the only thing holding the band to the watch is the resin bezel
Wrong move. The Rangeman blows the Mudman and every other G-Shock out of the water.

What is the "lugs" you say? Which parts? I don't understand.

I have both and love them two brilliant watches can't fault them also have frogman GWF D1000 and they complement each other love all my G Shocks mudman gulfman etc
I own the G9300-1 actually wearing it now . Love this watch it’s so awesome 😎. I do want a Rangeman though I’ve tried on at local mall it’s also amazing 😉

I am lucky enough to own both these watches and I tend to enjoy wearing the mud man more it is just more comfortable on my wrist
I like lighting color of mudman over Rangeman.
Have both; mud is lighter and a bit smaller so its more wearable with winter clothing and when climbing. Buttons on mud are much harder to push and manipulate especially for nightlight when 1/2 asleep. When I keep time my moon, off grid Mud is best and when in civilization I use Range which has sun rise/set data. Both are worth every penny!😊

I was having difficulty deciding between the two. I bought the 9400 cause of all the extra features but I also ended up buying the mudman 30th year edition (9330). Even though they look similar, the 30th edition is negative display and blue so it kept it different from the 9400. Also my 30th edition has the multiband 6. Both great watches

@@hapippt well, to be honest, I prefer the Mudman compared to the Rangeman. Both are amazing but based on my needs I feel the Mudman 9300 is better. Although the Rangeman has the altimeter and barometer, it needs to be calibrated before any major climb or starting any trek. If you travel in an air conditioned vehicle, the sensor readings are all over the place. Apart from this, the size, although u will get used to it, is definitely a little bigger than the Mudman.
The muddy is very light, feels very sturdy becuz it's entirely covered in the resin and you'll forget that it's there on ur wrist.
While the Rangeman has the multi band 6, it doesn't work in my country as it's out of the range of the signal emitters. When I go out for shopping or any event, I wear the Rangeman cuz it's more eye catching and feels good on the wrist.
When I'm doing some real hard work, where I know I'm gonna get dirty, while changing oil from my car, cleaning the backyard, etc, I wear the Mudman.

As for me, I like the design of Rangeman more than Mudman. I'm going to buy it but people are saying Mudman is better. I have to choose one. I like functions of Rangeman although Multi band 6 is not working in my country too. On other hand, I have no idea why Mudman is a Master.

Some people say that Rangeman's lugs are easy to break. Have you experienced?
@@hapippt Not at all. That depends if you force the lugs screwing to much or forcing to much the strap. If not, you will have Rangeman for a lot!

I have the Rangeman. Bought it a year ago and love it, but in november the barometric sensor stopped working (just showed "ERR") so I returned it, but a new is on the way. I´ve had many CASIO watches, and never had an issue before this, so I guess I was just unlucky. I would love to have a G-SHOCK with all the same features, but with dials. I have 3 tough solar watches (a must for me...I don´t want to run out of juice) and Multiband (allways on time). The Rangeman have all the features I want, and at an affordable price. I guess, if they made the same watch with dials it would be much more expensive.

@@TheSpiritOfTheWest It is really nice and very easy to read.. I was skeptical after reading some reviews with other casio watches having negative displays, but this display is sharp and vivid. Goes nicely with the gold accents on the compass, too.

I've had GW-9400 and I've got 2x G-9300 & 1x GW-9300. I really wanted to like Rangeman, but somehow that sensor button always hitted my hand. So mostly I was watching sensor modes instead of time. For me: Mudman > Rangeman.

I have both.. id take mudman any day of the year.. the lugs on the rangeman are crap.. i had to change my band twice in 3 years. Ive taken both of them to harsh enviroments and the mudman has never let me done.. dont get me wrong rangeman is a tough watch but no match against the mudman.
Millions of people around the world never had a problem with their Rangeman. Some people had problems with the Mudman, the GWG 1000 and there are even people that broke the GPR B1000. They´re mass produced products, it happens. The Rangeman blows the Mudman out of the water in every way.

Some premium G-Shocks like the GWG 1000 Mudmaster in some different colorways are assembled in Thailand. They had some regular ones assembled there in the beginning. Are they shit too ? Shut up
