For me The Netherlands is the best
My Top
1) GREECE [This song is just amazing - the greek elements of this story are beautiful...with the right staging and camera effects this could win Eurovision 2018]
2) UKRAINE [A very cool entry from Ukraine this year - this guy just knows how to rock the stage and how to present this song...but he needs to work on his english pronunciation]
3) ARMENIA [Just beautiful and sweet...I'm glad that Armenia decided to send a song in their own language - I'm exited so see if they will change the staging]
4) ITALY [The message of this song is very good and i like the melody and rhythm these two singers are giving us - i just hope people will appreciate this kind of music, i love the language BTW]
5) GERMANY [This is just such an honest and sweet song, very touching and i think one of the best entries Germany has given us in the last few years - this could do very well in Eurovision]
6) CZECH REPUBLIC [Very modern very cool and still perfect for the Eurovision stage - he has already proven that he can sing and perform live - this will the Czechias best result ever]
7) FRANCE [Beautiful melody and very touching topic they are singing about - the problem is that it was chosen so early, thats why many Eurovision-Fans might have listend too often to this :D]
8) DENMARK [I just like the viking vibes this song is giving us - the singer has a great voice and an amazing stage presence - But please get these sails from the stage it looks cringy]
9) CYPRUS [The song has a very nice and modern beat...The singer is amazing - all in all a big improvement from last year...but i'm not sure about the staging]
10) SPAIN [They are both so sweet and their song is just lovely - i'm interested to see if they will change anything for the staging in Lisbon...This year Spain has gone from zero to hero]
11) NETHERLANDS [the song is good but it has some confusing elements in it...And what is it with the Netherlands and country music :D? The dutch must me obsessed with that - still well done Netherlands!]
12) ESTONIA [The whole staging is amazing but the song itself is kind of annoying - however i think will reach Top 10 in the final - but it's not a Eurovision winner]
13) SLOVENIA [The song itself is cool and has something very special and different - the only problem i have with this are the annoying rap parts in Slovenian that nobody will understand]
14) HUNGARY [It took me a while to understand the meaning and story of this song - normally this is not my kind of music but i love the fact that Hungary shows some diversity by sending something so different]
15) UNITED KINGDOM [Very generic and very bland but it has some special parts that keep it from being too boring - i hope they will revamp this song otherwise this could be the weakest of the Big 5]
16) MALTA [For me this song is way to bland and average - Maybe with a special staging this could stand out - but for now i'm not that confident about Malta. I wish them all the best this year]
17) SERBIA [I want to like this song...but all these different elements make it really hard to understand how the song is supposed to sound like - They have to fix that]
18) LATVIA [I have the feeling that i heard the exact song before...This is a total rip-off but i don't remember who sang something like this :D for me it's just okay - nothing to go crazy for]
19) ROMANIA [Some parts of the song are amazing and some parts of the song are just boring and awful...if this song gets a revamp this could do much better...but now it's just meh...]
20) SWITZERLAND [This is extremely generic and i have the feeling that Switzerland could again not qualify...It is a good and catchy pop song but it has no identity]
21) BELARUS [Very strange voice - he is just awful live...i don't see this qualifying at all - Sorry Belarus but this is just one of your weakest entries ever - For me it's a clear NO]
22) MONTENEGRO [Sorry this is just a boring song from the Balcans...a song like 1000 others - nothing speacial, nothing that will make it stand out - i heard it twice and remember nothing]
23) ALBANIA [He has an okay voice but nobody really seems to really like this song - me included, Albania had amazing entries in the past but this year it's just not right - Sorry Albania]
24) MOLDOVA [Just awful...sounds like the Eurovision-songs of the mid 2000s that didn't qualify - something we would have seen in Istanbul 2004 or Kyiv 2005 - This is just bad and dated]

Hello from Ukraine 🇺🇦. This is my top 22, I don't include my country, but if you want to know, it's in top 5 for me, and not because I'm from there, no. Song is amazing, performance is amazing, artist is amazing.
1) Denmark (oh my god, this song is amazing, powerful, little catchy and it brings that viking vibes, also great performance, hope they'll just improve it, but won't change, everything is perfect, but i think people don't like it very much and it's not gonna win)
2) France (a little bit overrated, but not to much, simple and very very catchy)
3) Germany (Ed Sheeran style, but voice is good and song is interesting and not annoying, also underrated)
4) Czech Republic (yeah, overrated, won't be in the top 5 i guess, but still very catchy and not annoying for me, well now it's not)
5) Switzerland (like this a lot, but they should think about the performance, it's bad)
6)UK (very underrated, but for me it's so simple, good, interesting and veeery catchy)
7) Belarus (omg, his accent is sooo bad, i hated it for the first time, but now it's a little bit better when i've listened for it many times, song is catchy, the chorus is in my head, but yeah, also by listening for many times)
8)The Netherlands (i don't think people like that, but i do, 'cause i like that ganre and it's catchy for me)
9) Armenia (very good voice, professional, but song is so-so)
10) Slovenia (chorus is very catchy and i like the dance also)
11) Greece (overrated, good, but it doesn't make 'the wow effect')
12) Cyprus (i like only the chorus, other parts are boring)
13) Spain (not catchy, overrated, dark horse)
14) Malta (when she sings 'criminal, criminal' for me it seems like a chorus from the song 'Mama i'm in love with a criminal', little bit catchy, but only then when you listen to it more then 10 times)
15) Latvia (good voice, but boring and sad for me)
16) Moldova (when i think about this country 'Hey, mamma' is in my head, and this year song is not)
17) Albania (not bad, but not interesting and not Eurovision type i think)
18) Romania (something interesting, but it seems like something missed, so it can't go into my head)
19) Italy (not Eurovision type at all for me, and just don't like)
20) Serbia (nothing special, not catchy, boring)
21) Hungary (i like rock very much, it's my favourite genre of music, but this is just toooo far even for me, and also not the Eurovision type, of course)
22) Montenegro (it's sooo boring, i can't listen to this at all)
ESC Lucie yeah, i totally agree with you, there has to be a diversity, but for me the Eurovision is a type of a musical contest where i want to listen to the catchy, interesting and memorable songs.

So many pop songs this year.. I think none of the pop songs are goin' to win, but some better ones will get top 10. Many pop songs are boring.. You need to stand out

Exactly. I'm still waiting for THE song. Currently I'm struggling with my top 3 to decide which one I like more, but there's not a clear winner for me yet.
I Already have tho.. Germany is the big one for me. So touching song. I can't compare this to others. I also love Ukraine, Hungary this year. And have some 10/10 songs, their finals are tomorrow. Hopefully they make right choices.
ESC Estonia i agree sooo much boring generic pop songs that will be shity live with no autotune. And that is why Serbia, Greece and France will stand out
Hey, well actually today there will be TWO songs that will immediately take places 1 and 2 on my top. By those songs I mean THE songs I've been waiting for. Sara de Blue - Out of the Twilight and Elina Nechayeva - La Forza. Those are my personal winners of ESC 2018. I doubt there will be better songs from the remaining countries.

I gotta say, I can't stop listening to Waylon's song!! It could get higher on my list at some point... Personally I hope for Monsters, but I like all of the songs! This year (again, last year was good too) I can be proud of my country for sending a good song!
No I'm with you, Domino is much better to listen to, but there's something at the back of my head that tells me Monsters would light up the grand final night.
I voted for Domino. The performance was the best of all three. Well, I'm happy with Monsters too, but they need to do something to the performance.

You know that playing a piano live on stage is all fake? Musical instruments aren't played live on a Eurovision stage. Only recordings are allowed. So, I won't vote on artists that play the piano like they actuallty could. ;-)

You should also consider the staging.. she will literally set the stage on fire! Remember Greece 2008? A commercial song, with mediocre voice but she was so hot on stage.... result: She ranked 3rd!

So funny how people keep complaining they want original and new sounds.. But when it's time to choose people goes for the generic bland basic repetitive dated pop songs.. Like, putting Ukraine, Denmark and Greece in the front ? Seriously? .. Those songs are so old.
