Zero seats for the Tories... come on, it can be done 😄
Unfortunately not, i'm a psephologist (someone who studies elections and voting statistics) there are 94 seats that the Tories have held since 1945, the odds are those seats will not change.
None for Liebour Either. Bliar is the New Head of the WEF.
@@julieclonan2427 Grow up, child.
It can't be done. Statistically, it's impossible.
@@oneminutebeerreviews6628and have the Conservatives in that time been anywhere near as low in the polls so close to an election?
Fairly insignificant compared to the numbers of people's they've compelled into leaving this life altogether, which is in the hundreds of thousands by now with the 'excess deaths'!
'Excess deaths' runs out of steam eventually as a disproportionate number of the vulnerable have died early already.
But Boris' tactic of letting the virus wreak havoc amongst the elderly will now come to haunt the Tories. The average 18-25 year old voter who couldn't vote in the Referendum For Self-Harm are FAR less likely to vote Tory than the over 70s that have succumbed.
That would be starvation, hypothermia, suicide due to cuts to mental health, and who can forget the thousands of elderly people who were killed bcause of Covid 19? Not to mention all the others who died. Johnson presided over 250,000 deaths while he was destroying the country with his ridiculous Brexit and partying all night.
Agreed totally...
Laura Kuenssberg should fill a seat , she's a true blue Tory .
She will announce that during her Sunday at home with the Tories programme 😂
No, she's too busy sobbing into her Boris Johnson pillow, under her Boris Johnson duvet cover.
Toilet seat would be appropriate.
@@Gaza-vu6gl I stopped watching BBC shortly after she replaced Andrew Marr. Sophie Ridge and Beth Rigby are better commentators on SKY even if you think Ch.4 are too 'progressive'.
No, she's too busy sobbing into her Boris pillow, underneath her Boris duvet, having wrapped herself up in a Union Jack.
Every Tory who resigns before the GE should be automatically enrolled for National Service. Might as well make some use of them.
I agree entirely. I'd prefer to see them in prison though.

Michael Crick: “Advisers tend to be clever people”
But don’t know how to use an umbrella or look out of a window.
I'm pretty sure those ones are Lib Dem plants. The only other logical explanation is that they are Labour plants.
These advisers are all too busy looking at WhatsApp messages on their expensive phones to ever think of looking out of a window.
@@jackdubz4247 look out of Windows? They have iPhones mate!!!!
At 6.58, Michael Crick called local councillors dim. He stated that local voters like people from the local area, which would upset "the really bright people who have a job in London". To me, this is deeply offensive, Angela Rainer was a local candidate.
It is just me that feels disgusted how this man talks "tactically" about sits without an ounce of respect for the office, the constituency or themselves.
Yes.
Because it's political analysis about seats and the election, nothing else
He’s using purely political analyst talk, anyway the top politicians on both sides already treat these places with contempt and show no respect to many local areas
Until we get some form of proportional representation all we can do is vote tactically.
I'm in SE Cambridgeshire, where Lucy Frazer (who has been campaigning for months already) will be up against a local - and highly effective - Lib-Dem councillor. For the first time, I feel my vote might make a difference!
I live in South Cambs as well. The tactical vote is definitely Lib Dem.
If it's Pippa, she's lovely and awesome. Met her several times at conference and by-elections campaigning (I'm a Trafford lib dem cllr).
@@meenakshiminnis9460 I've met her too, she came across as kind, intelligent, and capable. I would LOVE to have her as my MP.
If they didn't feel they could retain their seats, they should have either resigned a while ago or said something to their cabinet about policy decisions
Why get off the gravey train early that would be silly...
New Government must introduce voting for 16 and 17 year olds asap; and then announce a new EU Referendum, within which no member of the governing party must be allowed to campaign
for either side.
no need on voting age. The tories have been here a long time. Anyone who was over the age of 4 years old when they got in can now vote them out, and the younger demographic despise them. This is why they're so happy to go after universities and young people in their manifesto, they know that they couldn't get young people to vote Tory for love nor money. We grew up with them in power and saw what they did. For the first time a lot of new younger voters finally get their say
I think we should raise the voting age to a minimum of 21 and ideally something like 25 or 30.
Its strange all the leading Brexiteers are leaving and no one has mentioned this
What do they know that we don't
They know, just like we do, that their almighty Brexit was and is an unmitigated disaster.
There were very few Labour Brexiteers and they disappeared from politics immediately. It's taken the Tories 8 years to lose their Brexit enthusiasts.
Mickey Gove has got that little indulgence to finance
The words rats and sinking ship spring immediately to mind 🐀
One of the telling things is how many tories in the machinery of running the party are stepping down or have already left or been removed. Nearly everyone who actually does stuff is going or gone.
Trying to avoid jail time
Brexit purges already thinned their ranks of anyone with any actual talent
@@jillybe1873it’s naive to think any of these people would ever go to jail, their time on the gravy train is up they’re now leaving to higher paying jobs outside of politics.
Can I just add to this that postal voting also includes overseas voting, including the new voters such as myself that the Government very recently enfranchised. They will need to get their postal votes in good time.
I want to know what the feeling is in loony-tunes Truss’s constituency.
i am sure, the Tories who will lose their seats, will move to the EU, because live there is much better!

In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way. FDR.
This is the first general election since 2010 in which I am not very invested at all. Labour will win but then I think they're in for a pretty tough 5 years. They're gonna have to put up taxes on ordinary people more if they want to seriously spend more on public services... It's going to be interesting to watch. New Labour governed during the boom times mostly, the next Labour govt will govern in very different times.
People really woulden't notice you think !!! If you need to parachute a candidate in, then your are in for a world of pain, as an example it's the same when you parachute a P.M in...Sunak as a perfect example...LoL 😅😅

I don't think the Tories will struggle to find candidates for seats even with many late announcements by sitting MPs that they are not standing again. The cry will go up "All aboard the gravy train."
Tory candidates won't last 2 seconds. Who is going to vote for some numpty that has been in their constituency for less than a month?
If you want something different you have to vote for something different!
You mean that nice Mister Bimmler in Minehead North?
Tories bowled out for 36.
I wonder how Labour think they can enforce the "contract" which Crick described. In my UKIP days we tried to find a way of controlling candidates but our advice was that such agreements would be unenforceable.
Did you grow out of it, (?) or did you go along with the rebranding of the Party as EDL, or Britain First, or whatever they now call themselves nowadays in Xenophobia.

All the rats leaving the sinking ship ,sorry tory mps, a list should be compiled at the end of the year to say what cushy lucrative jobs they have fallen into and the connection of having been an ex mp or minister.
I wonder, is it possible to look at the way the postal votes are cast? It would be interesting to contrast the postal vote results with the election day results. We do that all the time in the US.
Leave or sacked. What a waste of a fantastic majority?
🙂
The Tories got an 80 seat majority on 39% of the vote. It's why everybody in all constituencies MUST vote tactically. And remember your ID.
The Tories are in utter chaos. Not only are the rats, leaving a sinking ship, you have some of them, telling voters, not to vote for them, but, to vote for another Party.
Michael should be on all the political tv and radio shows, he cuts theough all the Horse manure, to the important facts.
And to think the Tories had in 2019 buried Labour for a generation. Now it looks like they could be heading for oblivion. Thanks to Boris Johnson for this disaster.
