General Hospital continues to keep fans on the edge with a lineup of thrilling storylines from July 8-18,2024. The action unfolds with Eva Jerome (Maura West) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) creating ripples, while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and Kate Howard (Kelly Sullivan) add to the intrigue.
The plot thickens as Cody Bell and Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) get entangled in the Boq storyline featuring Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez). Heather was always crazy even before the hip replacement. Yes, Sonny will fall into Ava's trap because he doesn't listen. Jason was always the voice of reason when it comes to Sonny.
Sam is getting on my nerves . She is so selfish. Now she is worried about Drew’s name change and that he is moving to Washington. It’s always about her and her feelings all the time 🫤

Sam is concerned for her daughter. Suddenly being thrust into the political lime light is jolting.Besides Drew talked about his choice to run for Congress with just about every one except Sam. He talked to Carly and Michael about the possibility of scrutiny into their lives.He should have had the decency to talk to the mother of his child also.
Sam is not being unreasonable at all, the writers should have had a scene with Drew and Sam discussing his decision.

Come on...not to mention, but I must, the age difference in the actors (she's 29 he's 54) Also, in the story, there were never any problems between Willow and Michael lately that would even hint at this, gah!
I agree 110%. Why why why?? Sooo messy. If Willow wanted a change from her job, she could have at the very worse looked into working with women with mental health issues at Kristina’s center where she could have advocated for women suffering cancer issues and how to handle the mental health problems associated with that. That could have been a storyline showcasing serious health issues plus possibly given Elizabeth something to do beside turn chart pages. We know Stella had no social work skills so she could learn from Willow how to address the social issues that can plague women with terminal cancer illnesses. A lot of story could be generated because Willow is a nurse who has been through this process.
I don’t like it but the writers are using it for Drew to be in the middle of a sex scandal while he is running for congress. I never saw any hint of attraction between the 2. Willow is straight and a honest person. If they take it to the next level it will rock the town of Port Charles and destroy many relationships. Anything than the old Sonny bipolar meds
Lovey dovey couples on soap operas can get nauseating over time. Drama needs to be injected or people will lose interest. Take your morals back to church and don't expect to see it on soap operas of all places!

I can't believe they really put Willow and Drew together. Starting With a scandal. I have been watching GH for over 50 years but this story lines are ridiculous.
Why not? You remember Sonny having a child with Alexis and sleeping with Sam whom he got pregnant. Sam ended up having a stilborn daughter, but that both a mother and daughter Sonny got pregnant. Then Sam went on to date the son of Sonny and that's Dante. So that's a father and son that Sam slept with. Drew and Willow have nothing on Sonny, Alexis, Sam, Drew that quartet.

Now, he has to go after Willow who claimed she is so in love with Michael. If I remember correctly, Alexis was infatuated with Sonny, they never claimed to love each other. As for Sam, she was a mess when she came to PC.
I have felt for some time now that Drew and Willow seem too close for comfort and today confirmed it. GH is wrong to have them do that to Michael.

The Sonny meds storyline was interesting initially, but they dragged it on so long that now everyone can't wait until it's over.
I cant believe they are putting drew and willow together. Sam is just mad because drew and Jason have gone on with there lives. Get the medication and pikeman storyline over. Gone on too long and has to end. Maurice needs this to be over. The writers are shameful
I'm so with you to get that ridiculous storyline over with Sonny, Pikeman and who knows what else. It's gotten so convoluted that it is stupid. I rarely, don't want to watch parts of GH, but it's happening now. I despise Natalia, Sonny is one dimensional--always on the muscle with no common sense, Drew flitting around. Get Pikeman and anything connected to it OVER. The only decent storyline recently was Finn's alcoholism. The rest just feel like a bunch of loose threads.

Sam has every right to be mad that Jason allowed their son to believe he was dead for over 2 years.
Sam also has the right to be upset that Drew threw his hat into the political arena and changed his last name without talking to her first. Both of these life altering decisions affects their daughter.

This Heather storyline needs to end. It makes no sense at all.
The writers have Porchia and Curtis all upset about the Heather situation but Trina has not had scenes with her daughter going on 5 months and her father in 3 months.. It's not a good look.
It's my hope we will see Trina and her parents at the Qutermaine picnic. Both of her parents will be there
Joss, Carly, Diane, Sasha, or Ava have not said anything about the Heather and Laura situation and that article appeared before the Blaze article.
Laura has Heathers Power of Attorney and she is going to use it to get Heather case reopened regardless of what Heather wants in my opinion.
Regarding Trina and Laura's conversation, I think it will be about Ace or Ava.
They both gave their POV's on Heather when Trina went to Laura's office.
But, if Heather is the subject they may have Trina agreeing with Laura.
Whatever is going on I just hope that Trina gets her own storyline out of it and not continue to be used to prop up other characters.

I'd like Michael to get a storyline, all he's doing is propping Willow. He was much more interesting when he was single. He's been front-and-center before, but is in the background way too much. The only characters I see being in the forefront all the time are Sonny, Carly and Jason (during times when Jason is on the show). I can picture Trina joining Gio's music gigs, with him playing and her singing. I think that's how they're going to get closer. I know we'd all love Spencer back, but it doesn't look there's any current plan for that.

Regarding your comments regarding Spencers return I agree with you that he won't be returning right now especially since he has been casted in another Ryan Murphy film.
At this point I just want a storyline for her of her own like Trina had before meeting Spencer.

Monday's episode felt like a Friday cliffhanger! I wonder what Sasha will do now after she seen Drew and Willow kissing? Drew and Willow kissing was a shocker because we seen the build up but didn't expect them to actually act on their attraction towards each other. Sasha loves Willow like a sister and looks to Nina as a mother figure so I'm guessing she will tell Nina but warn her not to confront Drew or Willow or she will destroy any chance she has of reconciling with Willow. It's going to be juicy soap opera drama watching Nina try to hold back from exploding on Drew.
Thanks for the update Belinda. I feel that Laura is making a huge mistake for advocating for psycho Heather. I understand Portia being angry but Heather never got the chance to harm her. She killed Brando a beloved husband and Sonny’s cousin. She stabbed Ava with her poisonous hook. She killed the gunshots sold Esme a phone. I feel if anyone should be very angry it should be Brando’s Family especially his wife Sasha. It’s crazy that Drew would consider a romantic relationship with Willow she’s more like a daughter to him. Portia loves sitting on her high moral horse but she destroyed Curtis and Jordan’s marriage. TBH.... I'm not sure why everyone is so surprised by this Drew and Willow scandal. The writers have been alluding to a hook up between Drew and Williow for months now. I always felt like their one on one conversations were too awkwardly comfortable with each other. Too uncomfortably initimate for my taste. So I'm honestly not shocked by their potential hook up.
