Even when you fail, having the courage and vulnerability to share it on the internet with thousands of people who have similar dreams and goals is valuable and appreciated. You're showing us what progress looks like. It's not always pretty and it's not always what you want, but the fact that you're there competing against some of the best in the world is proof that your hard work is paying off. Bummed for you but excited for the rest of the season
Absolutely heartbreaking man! Was waiting for this video all week. Keep the motivation man, refocus and keep pushing! You should be so proud and the oppurtunity to be able to play in this super competitive field is amazing. Good luck at your next tournament!
? Heartbreaking. He didn’t qualify for a tournement. His family didn’t die. He didn’t spit out for a world championship. Let’s relax a bit. It’s not even sad. He shot a 65. Didn’t qualify by a stroke. It sucks but not heartbreaking by any stretch
@@modestmealsandmore Lol
I think that is what he means, only missed by a stroke is heartbreaking@@modestmealsandmore
These moments suck but it's impossible to grow without them. You need to feel every emotion to appreciate the highs of success genuinely. The amount of progress in such little time is amazing to see so keep grinding and work through the mental aspect of the tour. This separates most of us from the top performers. Love to see the honest look through the lens during your journey.
Long season ahead! Keep doing what you're doing I'm LOVING the videos
You’re not only inspiring but you’re also my favorite CZcamsr for a reason….you’re the peoples person, you’re on a journey towards success and we’re just watching waiting for you to get better and better. You’re my fav by far
Man. You’re everything I stride to be on the course 🤟🏾. Keep at it. Easy peasy 🍋.
Solid analysis imho. Dope discs.
It's how it is. It's a learning experience. It's why Niklas was crying so much when he won last night. Failure after failure after failure and so much hard work and dedication and he finally won one. It's a grind. You're getting there
Impressive, this is the first video I’ve seen someone make where the entire thing is one long sentence.
It’s moments like these Anthony that is gonna make you stronger and hungrier than ever. Keep your head up and back to the grind buddy. It’s been a pleasure following your journey and i know you gonna get to where you want in due time!
I think it's awesome and inspiring you are walking away so positive. You are doing awesome and are going to keep doing dope things! Stay awesome.
I FEEL YOUR PAIN! I played a tournament recently, played it blind and going into the last 2 holes I was in 1st, i fluffed an upshot and went OB then couldn’t make the 50ft putt back to save par and honestly if I had just kept my cool for the next hole I’d have been in a playoff for 1st but mentally I had already lost and on the last hole I took another bogey and it dropped me to 6th. I beat myself up over that for at least 3 days. I know you have the drive to keep doing better and I get encouragement from your experiences. Keep up the hard work man!
Love your videos man! Your progress you’ve made over the last year/ 2 years is incredible. Excited to watch you do more amazing things!
Fascinating video - really enjoy watching this journey being documented, lots to learn. Hopefully the mindset grows into a detachment from success/failure and then becomes truly relaxed and a sense of fun settles in 💪🏿
This is just another life lesson and experience on your journey. You're doing great and love supporting you. Got my Texas Swing Chariot and can't wait to try it out. I love throwing the Hex and Pathfinder and hoping it doesn't replace any of them. Can't wait for the Tour Series disc reveal. Keep up the great work on and off the course. You're making a difference and grow the sport. May God continue to bless you and your wife.
Keep up the grind.
Thankyou for sharing the raw emotion with us, when you were finding out the score needed to get in.
what a journey! This is only the beginning! I'm looking forward to seeing more of the journey.
Super fun watching you on coverage with Joey! Glad that you got something out of the experience - losing it on the last hole is just rough, however you slice it. Nothing wrong with acknowledging how tough that is.
All a learning experience big man. Looking forward to see how it all goes this year
Was searching for updates constantly, and while this stinks, take that confidence that you can do this, and move forward with your head held high. We all have confidence in you, and love following your journey, both the high's and low's.
On a side note, played my first course in the Denver area over the weekend with my family, and I can appreciate the winter struggles with snow even more. It usually isn't as much of an issue on the western slope.
Hang in there man. It’s a long season. You’ll get there.
That course was very tough and technical. Proud of you for doing what you could with the conditions you had. Wishing you the best this year!
Dang man. That’s tragic. Thank you for still sharing this journey. Keep grinding man. You got it.
You’ll be back. You learn every time you go out. Thanks for doing it. I enjoy seeing what it takes.
You got the stuff man keep it up and good things will come
Great storytelling. Your hard work really shows 💪
On Thursday I checked PDGA instantly to see if you made the cut! I was very sad when I did not se your name. You have what it takes, be confident and do what you need to do to score! Cannot wait to see more of you on tour!!!!
you're an inspiration man. I have your mako3 back 9 snack time and it's helping me learn what my throws look like
Keep grinding man, you're doing great
I feel it. I played a B-Tier sunday, and missed getting a birth to states in my second tourny ever, by 1 stroke. Had a few spit outs, and took a tripple boggie on hole 3. At happens, and we will get them next time.
All that needs to tell you is that you're capable of playing at this level. Learned another valuable experience, dealing with the pain of self-inflicted wounds, and you know damn well that your skill is there to compete in these events. Keep grinding broham, that cash line is coming
Keep grinding man
Lessons learned brother. Doing great - keep at it
It's ok, man. Keep your head up. We all are still here for you. It was awesome to see you on joeys bag. Keep doing you man . We believe in you
Net positive. Without question you are good enough to be out there and you know it.
You sir, are going to have an incredible career if you keep this learning focused attitude and your insane work ethic. Understanding the heartbreak is important, but now you have experience to call back on and that is priceless. Good luck mate and keep working hard.
Love watching you man but we can't blame it on whether we can see the mark live. Yeah you could have made it had you known, but knowing you have to be safe sometimes, being in the upper brackets, means knowing when to lay up. Even in qualifiers. Keep trucking man, you'll get that lime light ❤
Anthony keep grinding. You had a bad round - we all do. You will make it man. You have all the tools. I’ll never stop supporting you. Much love!
All that does is show you that you can do it, now you just gotta go do it. Keep up the great vids, your backhand boot camp and tips have completely changed my backhand and got me to hit 510
Been wat hing you since before you had a legit title... you the man. I look forward to your videos. Idk what i wouldve done last year. Had a depressing year and your videos got me through. Thought you wouldnt mind hearing that. Would love to meet you one day.
It was awesome seeing you caddy for Anderson. You got to see the lead card pressure with all the cameras and people around. You will be in the field next year for sure
Keep your head up man
Keep pushing dude
Keep it up, you got this! Let us know if you're ever in the Carrolton area! Looking forward to the next video!
Keep that head up, you got it.
Wow, I could not imagine how difficult was to hear that 64 will get you in! Your game is definitely at a pro tour level. Even with a "bad round", little pro tour experience, and no real practice rounds you shot even, which is above the average of round 1 MPO players. Just look at the names you beat with that "bad round". In addition to that, you were recording and producing this amazing content. I can't say anything but you have all my respect and admiration
Keep going brother!!!
biggest takeaway from your trip should be- you learned so much. Not just of your game, but of the tour too in Waco, qualifier in Austin and caddying for Joey in the final round!
valuable experience, and i bet you soaked it all in and observed it all closely
The lesson you learned sounds like it could have been a better result than if you qualified man. You will get there!! Thank You for creating this content and letting us all follow you through it
Only can go up when your down! You got this. Lets go
Heartbreaking to watch the triple story! Keep it up though, you got this!
Keep your head up. Keep throwing. Chase those chains.
Saw you on the bag for Joey Buckets today, well, yesterday. Sorry you didn't qualify, bruv. I was looking for you all weekend to meet you finally. But, didn't happen! Oh well! Might be in Houston and will be going to some of the west coast dgpt events. Good luck on the getting in on the next tournaments! Cheering for you!
17:55 "I'm not good at Mandarin tones..." 😂 Threw me for a loop. I wasn't really expecting that you could speak Chinese.
WhenI first watched one of your videos, I was like , wow who os this guy.... I love your content, your are real, hang in there, I have been there in othwr sports, I'm a big fan, at 60yr, I enjoy your work
I LOVE the psychic!
I started in May of 2022 and feel like I'll forever be ma4. The fact that you started at a similar time and are a few strokes from qualifying for a field with the best players in the world is insane to me!! Keep it up duder...you give us Ma4s hope hahahaha!!
The best thing to take away from this is that you ARE good enough, the physical skills are there. The mental game is such a big part of everything, really. Maybe look into a Sports Psychiatrist...can't hurt. Also maybe try to put more pressure on yourself in a practice round to alleviate pressure when it actually matters. Just some thoughts, you're awesome. You've come so far in such a short time, it's inspiring to watch.
It’s moments like these that are going to make your first win so much more worth it.
on to the next one!
I love the Yikun hammer for a putter it has a thumb track and a thin rim. It was hard for me to throw deep rim putters
Damn. Thanks for sharing the drama. NEXT!!! You're going to get it.
Small set back for a big comeback. lock it in!
Brutal finish but you already know you'll bounce back.
I'll watch this soon. But I just wanted to say that you looked beautiful on Joey's bag.
You have the physical tools. Golf is a mind game. other sports you can use adrenaline to stay dialed but the pace of play is so slow its hard to stay dialed. experience is what you need now. these loses are needed, learn from them.
cleans up the c1 putting, gets used to calming nerves, and no triple, you'll be winning these qualifiers, can see you shooting consistently 1015 plus in just a few weeks
I’m nobody (with a bad game) so take this for what it’s worth. Take the endless hours it takes to become an elite putter. I believe this is what separates very good amateurs from pros, and middle tier pros from the elite players. Everybody can throw all the shots, it’s cashing all those putts that’s the difference maker. No secret, it just takes reps. Thousands and thousands of reps.
Your learning a lot in a little time. I’m sure your strategy will improve drastically from this. Some people take a few years to get all the lessons you learned in that round.
You’re so close dude. You got this next one for sure
Congrats Bo. I'm hoping to just not get last in my div then win it.
What was the name of those Chinese discs Bodanza unboxed at the end? The plastics looked sick
Sad you just missed it here, but for the amount of difficulties you had this was very impressive! And it was your first day playing there too! :))
What a tough break, keep your head up. There's definitely opportunities to get back in it. Also maybe you can make a collab with the Austin FPO winner @Ohn Scoggins. Would be a good insight on her win and approach this past wknd.
Shit happens. You're right there though, brother. I have zero doubt you'll be in the show soon. Looking forward to rolling through these punches with you. I like the positivity. Keep grinding. Motivate me.
Do this one thing... get good with 10 discs and practice with those 10. Work your bag down to 10 discs and your score will drop. Too many players have 20+ in the bag and feel like they should of thrown a different disc. Get that silliness out of your head and really get a solid core 10.
That airpod audio was actually not terrible.
Just come play the North Texas Open in Rockwall and party with the Hooligang!
SO CLOSE!! but that's all good!! that tells you, you're close! KEEP GRiNDiNG!
The mental game is really tough, the only way to experience it is by putting yourself in those situations.
I ran into two first time players with dollar store Frisbees on the first hole. I joined them, and gave them each a couple of my discs to use.
As the round progresses I'm having one of my best rounds ever. On hole 12 we run into my buddy practicing, who currently has the course record. I tee off and shank it.😅 I par the hole, and we continue on our way.
I ace hole 17, and I am tied for the course record. My tee shot on 18 is 25 feet away from the basket, and my buddy with course record is there.
I hit the birdie, and my score is -15, which is 5 shots better than any of my previous rounds.
Normally the mental game beats me.
Omg so sorry this happened to you. I would have enjoyed following you in Austin. There’s always next time
I do agree not having live scoring for a qualifier is odd, but only because with using U-disc in previous years a scoring system would be allowed for a qualifier.
10 is the easiest basket on the course. Niklas acing that one was incredible. Was thinking there'd be more on that one or 12. Kyle klein almost hit it on day 3. Missed it by 10 inches.
Unfortunate Brother. I can’t wait to see how the rest of the season goes for you! #embracethesuck
Well you're going to be okay. You've got a lot of Talent.
Was that you cadding for buckets?
Broooo man that’s so heartbreaking. But you got this man. The pdga app needs to step up for non sanctioned round scoring that would have been a game changer.
I just accept that my accuracy relies on a light hyzer release. I made my entire bag 1 click flipper, and it’s been magical ever since. I just pack a beefy section for windy days when everything needs to be 2 clicks more stable. But getting rid of hyzer/no hyzer thoughts allowed me to just focus on adding power, which is what puts me on a hyzer in the first place
Thats just how I solved my issue with discs not turning over reliably because I was changing my form. Can’t wait to see you qualify next time, cause you know you got it
Listening to the approach shot on 17, I suggest you bag a zone OS. That way you won't have to go crazy with nose angles on a stock zone
Did I see you caddying for Joey buckets in the final round?
Man that’s tough. I was so bummed looking at tee times and not seeing your name. Just know you’re clearly good enough to get in and compete. The environment was absolutely not ideal not having live scoring and I think most people would have felt that same pressure at the end to try to secure the best score. You can’t be blamed for that.
Don’t sweat it. You are right on the cusp. You belong and a whooooooole lot of people can’t say that.
I see you're signed up for the beehive classic? If you need someone to caddy for you/carry your bag to take some of the load off of you and/or to play a practice round(s) with, I'd be down to help you out there.
That just hurt to watch when you showed up to the scoring tent...You've got the next one no doubt.
Yo, Bodanza. I watch all of your videos, because you are wholesome. But please don't make it overly dramatic by calling it tragic.
It's a part of your journey and development.
I say this respectfully 🙏
And I totally understand your pain and frustration.
I like the part where we see you reflect on the event and how you are taking something from the event and use it to grow.
I think that part is important, because it can teach new players how to handle their losses and take something with them.
So please take into consideration how you choose to brand your videos, because it really matters.
Keep up your good work and keep fighting 💪 With your focus and dedication, I am sure that you can take it far.
I'm not trying to be mean or to interfere with your content, I just wanted to give you advice as a fan and follower 🙏
I'm looking forward to your next video.
Take care!
Sucks today (well then) but you'll forget about it in a bit and get some more events soon!
I’m so sorry. There is not much to take away from this, other than you know you’re good enough to qualify for Austin Freaking Open. ❤
I've never done editing in my life, but I have a sense for background effort on most anything I see. I work in a field that just sees my end result as well. Fantastic work homie and most definitely hard work on and off the field. We see you
Sounds like you just need to have fun man. Try and forget about the tourney and relax
sad face. I noticed your were caddying in that big cowboy hat 🤠
Ouch!
Look up box breathing and incorporate in into your putting routine. Should help with the elevated heart rate
