السّيّد عبدالله أبو شيخ، مؤسّس مشارك لشركة LuxDP.
مسيرة عبدالله بدأت عند حصوله على شهادة البكالوريوس في العلوم المالية والمواد البشرية في كندا، ثم عمل كمدير تنفيذي لشركة Royal Air وشركة Air-rum، واللّتين تُعدّان من أكبر شركات الطيران والمِلاحة الخاصة في إفريقيا. وعمل أبو شيخ أيضًا في إفريقيا على تأسيس مشروعين كبيرين للطاقة المتجددة.
تحصّل أبو شيخ على العديد من الجوائز ومنها الجوائز السّنوية لأفضل ريادي صاعد المقدّمة من عدّة مجلات عربيّة وإفريقيّة.
Mr. Abdallah Abu Sheikh, the co-founder and managing partner at LuxDP. After receiving his BSc in Finance and Human Resources from Canada he went and served as CEO of Royal Air and Air-rum 2 of the biggest private aviation carriers in Africa . After that Abdallah established AS investment consultuncy and helped lobby 2 of the biggest renewable energy projects in Africa. Today Abdallah is a a managing partner at lux working hand in hand with some of the biggest Chinese and Asian manufacturers on developing government utility scale projects in different energy fields.
Over the past few years, Abu Sheikh has received several awards and distinctions some of which are:
- Youth entrepreneur of the year by African business magazine.
- Youth entrepreneur of the year by Arabian business magazine.
- IC award for best project finance.
- IC award for non recourse finance solar project in Africa.
- An honorable distinction and excellency title from President Yahia Jammeh of the Gambia.
- A distinction from the Mahmadou Baoumia VP of Ghana.
- An honorable distinction from president Joseph Kabila of the Congo.
