Thanks for the video. I'm 17 and want to become a pro bassist, but I have pain hyperacusis and even listening to music hurts :( Your story gives me hope though, especially as a fellow musician.

Hi Adam ,thanks for your wonderful video. So informative. But there is no link to Pink noise and PDF you said. It says the content has been deleted. Could you please put it again. I don't have the money to buy it plus there is no shipping to my country for the package. I don't know what to do. I'm a musician and I really really need it . Thank you man if you help me.

Hey what’s up man, I’m a Recording Artist who also developed Hyperacusis back in the month of May, mixing my album. I’m just now discovering the Pink Noise treatment, my ears are most sensitive to the 2kHz-5kHz so it’s hard for me to mix vocals or drum sounds. Should I completely take a break from mixing/recording during my healing process? I use filtered ear plugs when working, but over time those harsh frequencies creep through the ear plug filters. Do you think No exposure to music is better for me right now? I’m 25yrs of age, music is my career passion and the thought of having to put it on hold can be a lot to process. What’s your take on it.

How are you doing now man? I've had pain hyperacusis for a little over a month and it's been super depressing as someone who's passionate about music. I went from wanting to be a musician from not being able to listen to listen to a song without pain.

Brendan Berney What’s up man, sorry for the lateness. I’m doing my best to stay in good spirits, some days are tougher than others. I know it’s tough, my pain levels aren’t unbearable but I’m still not able to endure higher frequencies at the moment. I’m a really out going guy and refuse to let this put my life on hold. It gets very depressing when I’m forced to stay in one place and process. I’ve been using the pink noise treatment tho, it makes hearing environmental sounds easier but I haven’t noticed progress. I’m gonna see an ENT this month just to test my hearing levels and take it from there. I wish you more strength spiritually and physically, we will get pass this!

@@Matiax.Va.1000 Hey what’s up man. I’m doing better, my ears are still sensitive to harsh frequencies but my hearing exam has shown that my hearing is back to normal. I’ve been living with pink noise, and sometimes I can’t tell if it’s making my nerves more sensitive, or it’s just sensitive bc my tolerance is building back up. I wish I had someone who could tell me. Just keeping my spirit up, hoping that I’m using the Pink noise for better and not for worse.

@@Matiax.Va.1000 brother everything is fine now ☺️ , i can bear sound upto 85 decibels but i avoid sounds above 85decibels and i use ear plugs in loud environment , hypercuasis is fine now , the main thing i have learned is that you have to protect your ears from very loud noises bcz after some exposures i get sensitive to sounds again for a while like 1 week and i have tinnitus too , in left ear which also increases after loud sound exposure , so i just protect my ears and everything is going good 🙏☺️💪🔥🔥🔥
