I got hyperacusis half a year ago, and trust me, you will recover if you do the right things. 1. Buy a bone conduction headset. I have tried 5 different ones, and I prefer Philips myself. I use this for playing white noise (app: bettersleep) at a low volume. Do this AT LEAST 6 hrs a day. 2. Use an air purifier in your bedroom when you sleep. It should make some sound, the sound will help you de-sensitise. 3. Take vitamin d, b and chelated magnesium. 4. Check out Treble Health on CZcams, especially the clip "How Loretta Reversed Extreme Tinnitus & Hyperacusis" 4. Stick to the points above, and BE PATIENT. This will take time, many months, but you WILL recover.

Thank you for your video it was truly amazing. I'm happy you got your life back in order. I'm 49 years old and I think I might have this condition. I noticed it started about two months ago. I went to a rock concert with my son. I actually did have ear so thought I was ok. Few days later I noticed my ears felt plugged and little hissing in my left ear. Didn't think nothing of it but has the weeks went on it never got better. Ears felt so full even driving around it was like I was in a plane with pressure and so on. I also noticed clanging of dishes would hurt sirens beeping of horns large groups even someone talking loud would hurt my ears. Went to see my doctor he said could possibly have eustachian tube disfunction. Now its November and seems like I can sort of tolerate a few things but can tell its still definitely there. Recently diagnosed with sleep apnea and starting with cpap machine because snoring is very loud. But still have yet to see ENT specialist. Doctor said snoring probably doesn't help either. So long story short I'm hoping to get better. Never heard of pink noise I will do whatever it takes because of course anxiety kicks in alot. Trying to stay positive your story really helped ❤️🙏 Rob!!!

Quite worthy, Adam. Soothing. Do you know, back during the Beatles' reign and for probably 25 years after, absolutely NO ONE dared to cover a Beatles song, as it was almost a sacrilege. Now, symphonies and artists from every corner of the earth play their songs. Their music will last over centuries, just like the music of Mozart, Beethoven, Mahler, etcetera.

Guys can someone please guide me?! I have access to the best private hospitals, audiologists but no one has given me the right advice. I had no previous medical conditions, super fit, active, listening to music maximum of ~1 hour a day along with a few phone calls. I only have been under chronic stress and anxiety since I was diagnosed with prostatitis and I have been dizzy (feels like floating) (Nov '22) and suddenly ~10 days ago, I noticed sensitivity to sounds. The audiology report confirms that I can hear to sounds under 0 DB only on my left ear. My symptoms are that sudden noises make me agitated, everything seems louder, dull ache on my left ear. There is no clear pattern and a hair dryer seems OK to me but the tap in the sink seems annoying. I want to change my life! I am getting married in ~3 months, I am desperate and I am able to go to any country in this world to help me fix this. Please guide me !! I want to work on my recovery earlier before it gets worse.. I have stopped going out, stopped training.. its all downhill from here..extremely suicidal!

Out of curiosity, did you also experience reactive tinnitus? Mine spikes with any sound around me, and it especially gets worse if I wear earphones or try to use any sound source near my ears, even at very low volume. So I've been staying away from headphones, earbuds, etc.

Maybe I missed something, but I don't understand how you went from: Wearing earplugs outside to wearing headphones with pink noise that is barely audible outside. If I go outside without earplugs, I will get burning pain for weeks or up to a month, maybe longer. Headphones won't protect against that and will leave me instantly exposed. You said you had burning pain and all the other symptoms and were wearing earplugs, so I'm looking for help on how you actually bridged from not being able to handle car rides or outside without earplugs to just going out with headphones which offer no protection.
