So cool to see an actual players prospective on Bouchard. An AHL coach is crucial for the development of young players. I'm glad that the sport of hockey is shifting away from the "old school" style of coaching, to a more strategic style.
I met Dale at the Airport in Montréal and he is a wonderful guy. I believe every word of what he says.
Great insight Dale. Channel is amazing.
This personal insight is invaluable. I really appreciate that these guys don't make generic sound bites on current storylines and offer refreshingly candid responses.
so nice to hear Dale, as interesting as Guy Boucher can be as a coach, we got thruth with those guys
Very interesting!
It's unprecedented and refreshing to hear pro players, who are still playing, speak openly about abusive behavior within their industry. It can only do some serious good for all of sport from pro to amateur levels.
"Go Habs Go"!!
would love to see Weise become a coach within the Canadiens family (AHL or NHL)
Great show
Habs did get to the final… Laval too had a great run, kinda makes sense. Great show!!!
Cool show guys. Liked Dale when he played with Montreal. As a new watcher, though, I would have appreciated a quick question like ''Do you have an history with Bouchard'' or ''Do you have a grudge against him''. You know. Not that I think there is, but just to set a clean table before launching such a bomb, because like you said, what Bouchard projects in the media is quite opposite.
He said it. He said he had nothing against the guy personally and that he could go with beers with him but that as a coach, he was just not the best around kids. (Basically what he said)
@@olivierrobitaille5566 Oh you're totally right, I missed that part. My bad.
@@FrenchAccentsChannel dont worry ahah
Maybe that’s why he left he wasn’t gonna get promoted by the Habs, man this sucks really need someone who can develop the young guys.
Bergy did his homework... if he was let go... even if at first i wasnt happy about it... i trust Bergy cause he is special by the way he is assessing every decisions
Who said he was let go? In the end of the year presser, Bergevin mentioned there was an assistant position open with the Habs for Bouchard. He also was going to extend his term with the Rockets.
Bouchard left on his own accord and took a job elsewhere.
@@HISHAM931 yeah Bergevin said he offered Bouchard an extension with Laval or an assistant job in Montreal
I believe you Dale , You got no reason to lie . I'd rather hear from a guy that was THERE then someone NOT there or HEARD something . You lived it . Good riddance , our youngsters aren't evolving as they should now we know why .
I've bin to many Armada games when Bouchard was the head coach, I second Dales thoughts and I'm glad Bouchard is out of Montreal organisation!
Do you think Bouchard was bad for a progression of a guy like Poehling, Brook
Ear me out mates. Joel Bouchard is very popular on the north shore of Montreal because of his Quebec Junior team the ''Armada''. When the Bulldogs became the Rockets and moved to Laval, the Habs organization needed a recognizable face to coach the team and to fill up the seats. From this angle, it was a power move from the Habs office people.
I like this, thanks for sharing. Very interesting strategy that probably is not thought about by the general family base.
Just a small correction. The Bulldogs never became the Rockets as they are now an OHL team. The team who are referring to are the St. Johns IceCaps.
@@p.hhenry4454 no the bulldogs became the icecaps who became the rocket, the bulldogs in the ohl now are the former Belleville bulls, 2 separate bulldogs teams
Not surprised, guy was full of himself.
It all makes sense
He's gone..
Interesting
i'm not sold on our prospects tbh. Poehling might be a solid 3C one day. Primeau has a great ground game. CC obviously looks like a top 6. I still think KK has a shot, but they've given him such a rough ride too, hopefully he gets some wingers this year and they leave him alone. Hopefully Guhle becomes a shutdown guy. That Mailloux pick is atrocious and along with Lefebvre, Therrien, Julien, and Bouchard- it shows we need to sweep out this management group, but sounds like this is what Molson wants.
I knew it he was like that.
Don't want to shit on him but.... Same on Coach Julien. Come on Dale get over it.
Look at what Bouchard has done with Laval, not that bad overall, he must have done something good, so i don't take what Weise says at face value, with all respect to him.
Yea of course, lets not take the word of a guy who played under Bouchard at face value *sarcasm*
Weise was referring to individuals like you who sit behind a screen and seem to think they have an understanding of how the person is.
Dale, all do respect Habs don’t have flexibility. They are forced to dig and find something speaking French, a diamond in the rough ….you should the hockey at minor level, here lol what a joke.
The Montreal organization was allowed to rot from the inside out from the poor management it had controlling it. Bouchard and Lucky Charm are examples of the mismanagement. This was run more like a child's lemonade stand than a real business always believing that the fanbase would always support the franchise no matter how poor the product that was peddled out there became. Gone are the days where fans demanded the best team be iced....now fans are happy with "participation" trophies being given out at the end of a season after missing the playoffs for the Umpteenth time or holding onto the memory with white knuckles of how good their goaltender was a decade ago and still claiming he is the best in the world when the facts prove otherwise.
He seemed very egotistical. Sounds like the team did well despite him.
always hated bouchard. I am not surprised at all
I'm not surprised at all. I never liked Joel Bouchard.
But he speaks French and that's all that matters in Montreal.
Never liked that guy. Has a big mouth.
