Funny you say that. I have a “satin” tire shine, I think by Black Magic, that I love the more I get older. Goes on shiny, dries and just gives a clean minimally shined look. Very classy.

I appreciated the analogy of black vs white with scratches. For some reason, I was always under the impression that white reflects light differently than black and what’s why the scratches weren’t as noticeable. Now I feel really stupid for not realizing it’s just a different “background” color! I really enjoy your logical yet detailed mentality to detailing.

No way I saw this car in the background of one of your videos when you went to pick up a car from your friends garage and I asked you if it’s possible you detail this car, the reason, I had that car when I was 19 years old in Ontario we had two in Ontario and one in Vancouver only three in Canada and I own one down and my favourite memories in cars until today call related to that vehicle, because everybody thought it was a regular GTA it was a sleeper that guy was so fast I loved it. Thank you so much for doing this video I appreciate it on so many different levels.

Watch almost all your videos Larry , big fan. One thing I have always wondered is when you are using the pressure washer on a vehicle in the shop doesn’t the water overspray get on the other car in the next bay? Would some type of curtain you could pull over in between the bays while you use the pressure washer be beneficial? Similar to a shower curtain type setup for lack of a better way to describe it ….
Just an idea …. Love your content, keep up the great work!

Seems odd that the tires got that bad in only fear years, especially being 6 years old only.

Its actually wrong ,these cars had @300-350hp but were underrated to not compete with the Corvette at the time. They were doing 0-60 faster than most Ferrari's in the 80s.

I've never understood why would you bother cleaning rubber that's clearly so old that it would make more sense to replace the whole set anyways. Like here Larry went on a long tangent about how the preservative chemicals make the tires brown. Like, at that point when the rubber is sweating the chemicals out, the compound is probably pretty hard and not road worthy.
But sure, this one being a special edition and no one's ever gonna drive it after the auction, so it's probably fine to put lipstick on a pig, so to speak.
