Have you bought your ticket yet, or is white privilege preventing you from doing so?
You are sending people to the most expensive places in Ghana, I been there three times and the clothes are cheaper, and you can stay cheaper in very nice hotel. You should be a movie star to stay where This guy, PASSPORT HEAVY want you to hang out, don't pay all that money you would be a fool to do it, go to the communities and help the real people of Ghana.

For real. My thoughts exactly.
Don't just want, do it! If you have the time and money when all this covid stuff is over, go! You will not regret it. I'm a white European but the rich culture and amazing hospitality was so great that I felt at home despite having 0 ancestral connection whatsoever. Foreigners are not treated like tourists, but like visiting friends. Western country pride versus African pride is different. Western patriotism is often quite nationalist and xenophobic, but African pride is welcoming of guests because they want to show off the things they're proud of and make you go home with good stories. I could go on for days about why I love this incredible country and its people.

Iâm a British Nigerian who visited Ghana alone for the first time in 2014. I stayed there for 1month volunteering and travelling to different parts of the country such as Kumasi, Accra, Bolgatanga, Northern region and Cape Coast which is one of my favourite places ever! I simply fell in love with the people and the peaceful atmosphere the place radiates. When I went, Ghana wasnât as trendy as it is now but Iâm so happy the country is receiving the recognition it deserves. As a proud Nigerian, Iâve always said I can Live in Ghana but not Nigeria (just my opinion!) but weâll see where life takes me.
Thank you for producing such amazing content.

I love both Ghana and Nigeria. They are both amazing countries. Nigeria has beautiful cities like Lagos, Abuja, Calabar, Port Harcourt etc. Same with Ghana. I also love the jollof rice from both countries.
Why do you identify as a "proud Nigerian" if you can't see yourself living there wtf. B please.
foreverseethe lol I knew there would be one to come and crucify me for my statement. I love Nigeria for holidays and yes Iâm very proud of my heritage but I have my reasons as to why I donât see myself living there. Same way Iâm also proud to be from London but donât necessarily see myself living here forever either. Out of the countries Iâve visited, Ghana is the one place Iâve connected with the most and just felt complete joy. Iâm still growing and creating new experiences so as I said, who knows where life will take me. I might just end up in Lagos after all ha!
Marvellous Runi I agreed with everything you said up until the jollof part. Nigerian jollof is definitely better đ
One thing about Ghanaians. They are very hospitable and human loving people. Probably one of the most hospitable and human loving people in Ghana.

When I'm tired of hearing gunshots in the US, Ghana is my hiding spot. Love the country, people, food, and the peacefulness of the country. Love Ghana!!!
@princeasante1 When has there been a shortage of killings in the US? Where you live used to matter when you're inside your house until the killings of Atatiana Jefferson and Botham Jean changed that. Everyone is vulnerable when they step outside of the house in the US. Too many crazy people with guns in the country and can be shot at the mall, your home, at work, at the club, etc. My lil brother's friend who used to live next door to us was killed by a cop. Right before I was done with my MBA program years ago, went to a club with my friend and a guy was jumped by a group of guys. When the guy got up, he went outside and came back with a guy shooting. Ghana has a lot of challenges but at least you're guaranteed the right to live and not be killed by someone who just feels like it.
Akwaaba to Ghana oo
@princeasante1 there gunshots everywhere, even if you don't hear them.
multyz1 Well said
@princeasante1 bot just black american . I dont its black american doing all the killings.thats was a stereotypical thing to say. America is just a dangerous place in my opinion. Bill Russell, can we keep in touch???
@@PassportHeavy I want to go and visit Ghana next year because my girlfriend is there. What things do I need before I go there and is it an expensive trip?
If the photo im looking at is your then all i can say. Is , make Ghana your home base... rather then the other way around. Let me break it down for you ...... your forfathers endured a alot of suffering in the Americas...And you live in America for most of your life, you live in Ghana ONLY!! 4 years, you're returning to Ghana with lots of money(as you say) to visit and monetarily help your friends ..RIGHT!!!! if you can afford to stay there then you should, because Africa Is a large continent and Ghana is only one of many countries in the African continent and it's the place where YOUR.... DNA ...Started.. For myself i will be taking my DNA back to the Mother Land in 2020.(Love me some African people) even though i've never been there i have always felt like i was born in Africa, because I've NEVER!!! Ever had the behavior of an average AfroAmericn female. My African brothers and sisters keep asking me......"you sure you're from America"....when i say yes!!! Then they say "it's hard to believe you're born and raised in America"feel free to stay in touch my brother through my businesss e-mail which is ....azizshirley7@gmail.comâ and đ my African brotherđ and may you have a safe journey home.
