“We gotta sell the fight” Chael “you don’t disclose the business”
Frfr
Lmao
Exactly what I was thinking
Shut up, Chael!😂
I cant let you get close!
Bro, saying "The freshman came to play" and getting him with the jab immediately is just badass.
you can see the shock and even a smile on bros face after catching that left 😂
Chills
bro i never seen that part that jab was hard as fuck
It’s a check hook max always throws the check hooks
Kattars POV: "The Freshman came to *POW* baby"
Max shouting “I’m the best boxer in the UFC” whilst slipping punches is the most badass thing I’ve seen in MMA
Most badass thing I've seen in combat sports not just MMA
Really? Y'all must have been watching "combat sports" for like 2 years max.
@@MindGamingMantis classic detractor coming out of nowhere to make themselves feel like they know better than everyone
@@MindGamingMantis lmao bruh was looking at the commentary after piecing his opponent up. No look jab to the face followed up with a taunt while not looking at his oppoenent at all and slips 4 punches not looking. Against arguably a top 3 boxer in his division… Max went fucking Ultra instinct in that fight, the only performance that comes close to this and imo does top it is Cody No Love’s dominance over Cruz and i give Cody the edge just because he didnt even get touched really at all in 5 rounds
@@MindGamingMantis Been watching MMA since Chuck Liddell was fighting and Boxing since Mike came out of prison. Still ain't seen anything as badass as that.
Even Kattar had a smile on his face from that 😂
Kattar was smiling the whole fight, almost as if even he was in awe in how bad he was getting his ass kicked
He loved every minute of that beating. He learned that day that he has 1 more level to climb to be beside some greats. Just love how both guys laugh it off. No hate or extra malice just straight admiration from each fighter
@@draqon8094 Kattar is a dog he can appreciate a good ass beating when he sees it/feeling it lmfao
@@draqon8094 I swear 😂 just smiling during the beating
He's truly a fan of the sport
"the freshman came to play, baby"
*Socks kattar in the face*
Katar: smiles 😂
What a fucking warrior dude. I'd be so mad if I was getting outskilled like that, Calvin just goes 'lmao bet'.
He got enough humility to see the humor from a outside pov🤣
these type of bot comments are so dumb, you legit just told us what we watched with our own eyes...
@@TigerHands He is higlighting what he found most funny about the video. Touch grass.
For real man, you can tell they both just love what they do
I never noticed how Calvin smiled after Max’s freshman line. Even after eating another shot. You can do nothing but admire skill like that.
Kattar has always been that dude. And we all love max
“We just gotta sell the fight bro, I know”😂😂
Boo
Respect to both in the end there 👍
You don’t disclose the business

Damn. Max is so smooth. Such a great MMA style boxer.
Edit: Holy shit, thanks for all the likes everyone. I think the most I've ever had.
Ye
Can’t wait till he retires to watch him fight Jake at 170 💀

Someone tag me when they make the ultra instinct edit😂😂
@@daveyjoseph6058 not if you are a zombie fan :(
@@daveyjoseph6058 naw he just hit an elbow and had a crazy ko, so many of those happen, I’ve never seen someone dodging punches whilst yelling at the commentary team, in a 100% real mma fight. Not once besides max. Blessed Express baby
This is probably the best performance I've ever seen in the UFC.
Huh? How lol
@@cardoone6091 biggest strike differential in a fight, most amount of significant strikes landed in a fight (beating his own record) and no look punches and dodges maybe? If I had to guess is what he meant.
@@cardoone6091 did you really just act confused and say how? Have you even seen the fight? Drop everything and go watch Max Holloway vs Calvin Kattar. It was one of, if not THE most dominant performance in MMA history. Watching it live was incredible, Max was on a complete other level than Kattar that night.
This one and Ortega vs the Korean zombie are crazy. Ortega came back looking so damn crisp during that fight - he was on another level .

He took that ass whooping like a champ. Props
Nahhh ain't no participation trophies gtfoh

@@fieldchiefMf acting like fighters don't give others props even in victory, you sound stupid.
Calvin Kattar ate the most significant strikes in a UFC fight of all-time. Bro deserves respect for going to war with Max and never giving up.
Kattar was fucking smiling the entire fight almost like he was happy he was getting fucked up. Insane dude
"The freshman came to play, baby". Katar like "fuck, he got me" 😂. That smile after Max said it tells you everything you need to know 🙌🏼😂
He hit that flow state. When you hit that perfect flow state nothing can go wrong. Every punch lands perfectly, every slip perfect… it feels like time is slowing down like the matrix
Max is probably my favorite UFC personality of all-time. Dude is ready to brawl, bro it out, and got that Aloha spirit. 🤙🏽
Very much like a GSP and Wonderboy
I never caught “the freshman came to fight” line before, makes it even better
Then snaps a punch 👊
Max been racking up some real hall of fame moments
It's hard to just look at Max and hear his voice and think, "that's one of the most terrifying men in the world" lol, but then you see him fight and completely understand.
max one of the coldest fighters to grace the octagon for sure
Dan Hardy screaming in the background is the cherry on top
“We just gotta sell a fight bro, I know”
One of if not the most savage thing to ever occur in an octagon, just fully disregarding his opponent 😂😂
There is just something so cold about yelling “I’m the best boxer in the ufc” with your hands down not even facing the opponent and not getting hit once
When max was talking while slipping punches, I legitimately got goosebumps. One of my favorite MMA performances.
Went ultra instinct
What was so great about that moment was that a lot of fighters started claiming they were the best boxers. As they should be saying as well, it is what draws the crowd. Max a true one fr
Rewatched that fight
Kattar has a chin on him
Kattars a problem and Max almost damn near beat him to death on the feet
This truly was one of the greatest performances ever, very thankful to have watched it live
Max is a different kind of fighter. That dude hands out ass whoopings like no other.
Only true warriors can smoosh each other’s faces and say nothing but love! Legend!😂
Max got the lightning bolts. When he hits you the only thing you see is a flash of light and them little white dots.
That sharp jab when he said the freshmen came to play was beautiful lol
Max top 5 realest mofo in the game!
Definitely! Up there with Nate, Nick, DJ, and Bones!

This was literally like the perfect moment of MMA
It doesn’t even seem like it could happen that perfectly, in a movie it would seem unbelievable lol. What a legend.
Watching the fight in real time on that day was a blessing for me😂😂😂 back then i knew max was pissed for that freshman comment katter made
Dan Hardy was such a dope commentator
His warroom fight breakdowns are usually on spot
@@user-if6pq3vu2fdid you mean spot on? 😅
Max slipping those punches and saying that to the commentary is fucking HISTORICALLY BADASS
That jab max handed when he said “freshman came to play” had mad power behind it kattar looked like he got hit by a left hook
Max is my UFC GOAT no matter what. Ive been on the bandwagon since my guy threw hands with Lamas with 10sec to go
Dude's a goddamn pit bull in a golden retriever's body, so friendly and wholesome when the clock's not runnin 😂
There’s nobody like Holloway he’s a living legend.
Doing that at a professional level is just insane. Reminded me of what prime Roy Jones Jr used to do to dudes.
UFC fighters are amateurs on the feet.
He was hitting him and saying "wrong freshman". And in one of the interviews his quote was "there are some freshmen and then there are freshmen who kick your ass and take your girl".
I remember GOING OFF when this happened. Max went ultra instinct right there. Talking to the desk while looking at them but dodging kattars shots. Was a spectacle to see lol
Holloway is a gift to MMA, such a cool dude outside the ring, but a savage warrior inside. We are blessed to have him in this sport and when his time in the UFC ends he will be missed
Hurts to think how much head damage Kattar took. That’s gonna hit him later in life same with Max
Why does it catch up with us and not happen straight away
@@creativeape8994 I’m not sure the science behind it. CTE is a weird thing they can’t even diagnose it officially until they do an autopsy after you die. But it’s clear when some guys have it
@@creativeape8994 Your brain deteriorates as you age, but TBI (traumatic brain injuries) accelerates the effects. Your brain can only take so many concussions until it calls it quits for good.
@@creativeape8994 Also your brain never really heals from a concussion, which is why it's important to take a good amount of time off after a loss like this. It's why they grant medical suspensions after KOs.
@@creativeape8994 Guys keep taking hits over the course of a long career and the damage adds up.
The end where they just shake hands and say we gotta sell a fight made me really happy just nice to see some good sportsmanship
this is still the coldest shit in UFC history
I love max man, such a fucking warrior talks shit in there but he does it with respect and charisma you can't help but like it, definitely a legend in the best sport in the world baby
Motherfuckin respect between true warriors
Bro got hit with a jab and went ultra instinct, fucking legendary as always
That “the freshman came to play” followed by a immediate jab is nasty work 🤣🤣
After the fight 👏🏻 that's what make max the goat .
Nothing but love brother
Max Holloway is an absolute beast. He put on a clinic in that fight, took that boy to school.
He turned Ultra Instinct
The coolest moment in MMA history
Kattar is one bad mf. To take that kind of beating and still keep fighting deserves respect. Max made this an iconic ufc fight rising up to another level showing us something we haven’t seen before. One of the greatest fights ever.
The “if you look at the most significant strikes” being said sounds 🔥 on beat
Max is a Damn Legend at his own Age he’s a champion and has had so many Legendary moments in the Octagon
This was literally one of those moments that will live on forever. Watching this live was amazing, what a performance.
When the commentators start saying “OHHHHH” or “ woowwww” something to that effect. You KNOW you’ve got a moment
He literally hit him with the Aoki No-Look; while Max was chopping up with the commentary team, Calvin also looked towards the team before getting his head snapped by a punch he assuredly did not see coming.
One of the best UFC fights I've ever seen!
"Nothing but love brother. We just gotta settle a fight." Absolute fuckin legend
Blessed is such a fighter.
Beautiful sportsmanship
And thats sportsmanship right there love to see both men humble at the end.
That jab after he said the freshman came to play was dirty🤣
Nah they really felt that but then at the end they really do respect one another. Fighting is so beautiful in the respect fighters have for one another. Love this stuff.
"Just gotta sell the fight" man at least he's honest.
this gotta be one of the greatest moments in the octagon
That was awesome. Respect to both men
Between this fight and the fight against Lamas where he was wining for 4 rounds and 50 seconds then pointing at the ground and saying let’s swing it out for the last 10 seconds Max has 2 of the coolest moments in the octagon
My favorite thing is Calvin was laughing from Max’s lines
I remember watching this live and getting chills. It was such a raw and savage moment in UFC history.
Max unlocked autonomous ultra instinct in this fight
Katar is one of humblest fight i know , since early days , he would come to the gym say hi to everyone , he owns Combat Zone yrs before fighting in the ufc , his family was loaded and he was so simple and chill
Max had some legendary moments inside the octogon.
He smiled when he said the freshman came to play that made my heart glow
That’s why Max is always the fan favorite
Probably the best sequence in UFC history. Blessed is the best.
blud activated observation haki 💀
Max goes down as one of the greatest fighters for sure. The way he gets in there to put on a show is like music from an Orchestra
I LOVE how you can hear hardy go nuts just wildly shouting into the mic. So much passion for the sport.
This was a wild fight to catch live. Max is a fucking beast.
I believe that Max is one of the most genuine guys in the sport.
Anytime you’re saying “if this was in highschool” just refrain from saying it
Perfect example of that elusive flow state. So interesting that our minds can go to this entirely new state of consciousness that allows us to perform physical and cognitive tasks at and unbelievably high level when pushed far enough. Saw Cody enter that state against Cruz. Conor basically lived in that state for over two years in the UFC. These are the moments that showcase what fighting is all about. Respect, dedication to your craft, and the payoff in the form of an absolutely stunning visual of a man dodging 5 punches in a row from a world class mma boxer while not looking and simultaneously telling the broadcasters that he is, in fact, the best boxer in the UFC. I mean come on, it doesn’t get any smoother than that. Some people never experience being in the zone at such an intense level, and that really sucks.
Watching that live was madness, top 3 most savage things to happen in the UFC
Max is a known for his legendary moments in the octagon.
Max always been the BMF
Masterful performance last night.
The definition of “I’m working’ here”.
I will never forget watching this fight live. It fucking incredible.
Max was on another level that fight
Watching this live was wild, Max was putting on a show
Still one of the craziest fight I've ever saw in ufc
Why did max develop a French accent when he said he was the best boxer? 😂
