VW NO KEY IN RANGE

Vw came from a VW dealer and an other dealer bought it from auction as is.
We found the problem and now the VW is even sold and the lucky dealer is happy because he make money from the VW dealer ...

Ir works now because when pulled out the Module then plugged it back in You Resetted

Why the car is so dirty?
I had problem of car saying that key is not in range. Problem was in 12 v battery the voltage was low around 9 V. Once I charged it to 12.5V all was OK!!!!!

it is doing this same problem on my 2014 Passat Tdi. I will try it and report back. I believe you are correct about the fix and as a diesel technician I'd also agree that it causes a "reset" of the electrical system between the antenna and the module and key fob. Well done.

What's the fuse that goes to that control unit? I'm just wondering whether pulling the fuse might do the job to reset it rather than removing the glove box (which I would like to avoid)?

Make sure the key is in good condition. Check the key battery 🪫
