    I just want to say because of your video, I made my decision to make the jump on this. And I’m glad that I did. It fitted my criteria of needs and I can’t wait to use it in the wild once things have settled down in the world.

      Same here. These are getting hard to find out in the wild for some reason. With travel starting up again finally it was time to update some of my essential gear so this review was super helpful and I’m looking forward to putting this through the paces on my next trip.

      Bellroy's travel wallet is more suitable for airport commute. Once you arrive at your destination you can transfer the items that you need to your every day wallet. You can keep the rest in the hotel's safe if it is available.

      We haven't come across many premium brands that have made a family passport holder. There's one from a brand called TomToc which seems to be able to hold 4. Hope that helps - Ed

      @RushfasterTV  Před 11 měsíci

      The Bellroy Travel Folio does not have a built-in tracking feature. However, it has RFID protection- a feature that is designed to prevent unauthorized scanning or skimming of the information stored on RFID-enabled cards, such as credit cards, debit cards, and ID cards.

    The OOK zipper is a pretty big disappointment on a $140 folio. Why stop using YKK?

    • @RushfasterTV
      @RushfasterTV  Před 3 lety

      It'd be really interested to know why they aren't using YKK. I think perhaps OOK quality is similar these days so they moved for ease of supply chain. But only Bellroy knows, so maybe we should ask them some time.

    • @GetUpTheMountains
      @GetUpTheMountains Před 3 lety +2

      @@RushfasterTV I've asked them directly, this was their reply:
      Thanks for your patience JimmyGarrison'sChin, I have spoken with our production team who appreciate your feedback and would like to share clarification that our decision to change to OOK zippers is not a downgrade, but rather an upgrade to a higher quality zip with better performance and durability.
      YKK is an Italian brand that is well known for its zips, we have found that the metal zip range in OOK is a lot smoother than YKK, in addition, it looks better and is more aligned with our material sustainability goals. So to confirm, the change to OOK was a pure design, performance, and durability decision. This has been done to increase Bellroy quality and performance standards of the products. However, we are continuing to use YKK zippers in our bags range as we believe they are still the best options for Non Metal zips.
      The reason that we have not yet updated the information in our product information is due to the brand awareness is not as high yet on OOK and we wanted to reduce the risk of confusion for our customers.
      I hope that this helps to clarify our position, please do not hesitate to reach out with further questions, we're here to help!
      I have Bellroy products with both YKK and OOK metal zippers (classic backpack plus, sling, pencil case with YKK and Classic pouch with OOK, and I disagree with their assessment of the OOK zipper quality). You might notice that they've removed ALL reference to zipper types on their website now. It used to be that each product had a bullet point about the zipper it uses; now its just vague instead. Not cool ,Bellroy.
