Was watching the series on India. India through the lens of Chef Joel!! You are a sensitive soul, some could have just stayed in a five star hotel and taken a flight back! But you made it a point to visit the other side of Mumbai and it was daring and compassionate!! Next time visit an average middle class household and I can promise it will be more fulfilling and entertaining spiritually culinary -wise and full of warmth!! We believe,Atithi devo bhavo ie.Guest is God!!!!

Yes, this is an unusual island...
This Elite Havens' villa has so beautiful design, I loved the soothing light colors of the furniture and these green doors, I totally agree about these handmade ornate pieces of art are truly captivating. ❤️
The herbs and vegetables in the villa garden are amazing.. Chef Joel, you were in heaven.
I wish I could taste this potato burger and this Indian rice pudding is really like what we cook in Egypt, it's vermicelli with milk, lots of sugar, cream and butter, ... it's delicious..
I loved this camera shot, It made me feel friendly and welcome with these pure smiley faces..
I really felt that your experience there would be unforgettable..!!
Супер👍💝
Peace, beauty and harmony, thank you 🌷

Soon! ❤
Joel, Thanks for another wonderful video on India 🇮🇳 Amazing! 🇦🇺🇺🇸
Cheers Marjorie!
I'm really enjoying this series. I've always been on the fence about visiting India. To my eyes it always seems a bit chaotic but you show a more relaxed and peaceful side to this country. Im looking forward to seeing the next episode.
I think it is a matter of perspectives. Perhaps he went to India before and knew the pace, so the videos reflect other things other than the fast pace. Most first-time travelers to India notice the noise and the general rush, so that is what their videos display! I loved it there and hope to return to India one day!
Glad you like them Seano, watch them all so you grasp a good sense of the country!
❤❤❤
Hi Joel, this is Rizwan. My wife and I designed and built the villa you have featured. Thank you so much for the beautiful visuals and compliments for our little abode. We are really glad to see that you enjoyed your stay ❤. Thank you once again 😊
That's awesome Rizwan, your villa has such great vibes, felt comfortable from day one. Thank you for such a great stay!
Thank You once again for the kind words and so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay@@recipe30
Merci beaucoup pour votre partage. Magnifique cet endroit.
Oh ! L'occasion de me ramener whiskey. Bonne soirée
What a vacation...in India! I prefer this over the Palace. Lovely landscaping and peaceful. Kudos! And major wow!!
It was a cute place, very comfortable and homely. Could stay there a few months quite happily. Thanks for watching ❤
I would love to experience the country as well as the food. I can't finish watching the video due to the things I need to do, but I will for sure. Congrats buddy!
Cheers Carlos!
Watching here from Philippines
Awesome!
Oh Joel, you missed out! The real Goan food is out there in the umpteen seafood stalls and eateries peppered across Goa. Fish fry, Fenny, Bebinca...the quintessential Goan experience!
I need to go back!
I love Indian cuisine. Idli is one of my favorites but everything looked amazing. Do your know why there is a cross in the area by the lighthouse?
I believe it was a small cemetery half way up.
Hi Joel! Long time subscriber from Mumbai, India. Had no idea you were visiting the country! What a coincidence I was just thinking of visiting Alibaug for a small staycation. Are there any other places you visited there? Any other beaches?
Can’t wait to see your Mumbai vlog.
Hey Vanshika, yes it appears that it's becoming a popular holiday area. We first drove there from Mumbai for 3 hours but the ferry was so much better in one hour. Enjoy!
Hey Joel! Did you also manage to visit the Northern part of India? We would love to see you in New Delhi. Glad to see that you enjoyed your stay in our country. ❤
Next time for sure!
How do u choose places to visit?
You are Jordan wherever you go ,joel
I don't know what that means, I'll look it up, but I know I want to go there.
The steamed rice flour cakes are called 'Idli'.. you dip them either in the coconut chutney or in the sambhar.. or both as you did.. my personal favourite is the coconut chutney 💜
The Chefs didn't speak English so it was hard to work out how to eat and mix the food, but it was delish!
What a great series Chef, I can’t wait for the next installment. “I’m glad I didn’t wear my stilettos.” 😂😂😂
Cheers John! Yep, you need to watch were you step in India, next vlog tomorrow!
@@recipe30 I’ll be waiting lol. 😁
Visit kerala the southern part of India if you have enough time. It’s totally different from remaining part of india
Try South Indian foods
I did in Goa and Sri Lanka was similar.
Well Chef you do like your Wet adventures in India. OMG. Thanks but no thanks. I take Bali anyday. Yeah. 😊
Yes Bali is certainly more relaxing than India, but India is great for adventure!
I do hope that you did take your wife, the video was very different than most. I loved it and will be following all of the recipes that you show on your blog. am sure that with spices we can come to the middle when adding them. My Husband used to sweat mentioning them, but I love the spice.
I certainly did on this trip, most of the Indian food I had was adapted to our taste I think, as nothing was over spicy.
"at least we didn't drown" 😂
It was so rough, I couldn't film it sadly!
Have you visited Hyderabad in India? If not you must
7:07 Adolf lives here....
He stole that symbol.
Stillettos lol
Ha ha!
How's your dog man who taking care of him
