Get this man a best supporting actor nomination. He waited 20 years because Hollywood had no roles for him and then he played 4 different characters, all amazingly. The heart of the movie

Totally Agreed...the cast were fantastic. All of them.
But he stood out for me!

Is he a supporting actor? If so, he completely outshined Michelle Yeoh!

I thought the performance was a co-lead. I hope he's nominated for best actor. Best actress for Michelle Yeoh, best supporting for Stephanie Hsu (who does some extraordinarily emotional heavy lifting), best supporting actress for Jamie Lee Curtis and best supporting actor for the legend James Hong.

I saw this yesterday and sheesh. One of the best movies I can remember in a long, long time. Ke Huy Quan's performance was superb, as was the rest of the cast. Loved it.

He looks very youthful for someone that's 50 years old. I'm glad he's back in front of the camera.

Love this guy. his characters are always the best sides in movies(Data from goonies, shortround from Indy, etc) Even just in this interview he sounds positive and humble about everything that has come his way.

Who else is seeing this after watching the movie? In one of the multiverses, Ke Huy Quan was making movies nonstop and is the most famous actor in the world. Trippy.

He is such a good interviewee, because he answers every single question with a lot of elaboration, but it serves to answer the question really well. Sometimes you get people who go off on different tangents and then you realize never actually answer the question, or only vaguely so.

IMHO: he has that in common with Andrew Yang, whom he also credits (tongue in cheek) with getting him the EEAAO job.

I went into this movie with no expectations. I didn't even know who all was in the movie, other than Michelle Yeoh. I only knew the story was some kind of "multiverse" story and that they did it better than Dr Strange 2 did. I only recently had time to watch the movie and it literally blew me away. I'm now obsessed with the movie and everyone involved did a damn good job. This movie better win all the awards.

Jackie Chan's comedic action, a heartbreaking lovelorn romantic lead as good as Tony Leung ever gave, and surpasses them all with the Be Kind scene. what a triumphant return to screen.

You're off decades and you come back and read a script like this... i can't even imagine how bonkers it must've been. Both Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan both said it was the role they've been waiting for all their lives... and they poured their hearts out, hope they get all the opportunities from now on although I doubt it very much Hollywood has and always will be racists towards Asians. The only roles are those that pose no threat like a gay or bi male in a beta male role, a backup character like Kato in the Green Hornet, a servant, geek, nerd or still riding on the coattails of Bruce Lee who shattered the stereotype decades ago as a martial arts master.
