- Quan starred in the '80s films Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and The Goonies as a kid, before quitting acting. Now he's up for an Oscar for the first major acting job he's had in decades for the role of Waymond in Everything Everywhere All at Once.

I listen to whatever with Ke in it. I learned so much about him that I’m basically eligible to be his biography writer 😂
When talked about giving back to his parents, boy that got me. It doesn’t matter if he wins the Oscar, he’s already a winner. What a decent human being.
As an 80s kid, I grew up with this guy. I was 6 in 1984 when I saw Temple of Doom! And the 7 the following year with The Goonies. And remember him on later seasons of Head of the Class, which noone brings up lol. I'm so happy for him and so happy to see him back! And he WILL WIN the Oscar!!
The greatest comeback in Hollywood history!! Congratulations, Short Round!! Dr.Jones would be proud!!
So happy Ke Huy Quan got his Oscar! What a great Oscar season 2023 has been. When the people won I was just so happy. And the competition was stiff with great actors and films competing. Even getting nominated is an amazing honor, those who did not "win" should still be proud. But for the cast of "Everything Everywhere All At Once", a low-budget independent , unique and original film to win this big, it just gives me faith in the creative process, the taste of the public, and the power of cinema. I was also very thrilled about Brendan Fraser who was so badly used by Hollywood. They all deserved the awards!!!
Amazing interview. Ke Huy Quan deserves all the recognition and praise
what an amazing story...what an amazing human being. His story is so inspiring and humbling thank you for sharing
Now he is a Oscar winner!
What a great in-depth interview. I just learned more details about Ke’s life that I didn’t know before. Such an inspiring story and background he has.
Loved this interview. Thank you. Ke is an amazing spirit!
I love him so much.
Short Round Rules.

Amazing interview with a wonderful person. I loved him when I was little and watching Indiana Jones, I love him now, and I am glad to see him having a great time.

Ke Huy Quan is a VERY limited actor...
he only makes classics.
Fanny pack is such a effeminate unmacho thing and the Daniels made it into a weapon - so funny
