I stayed there in 2015 and it was great for the price we paid, very cheap. They were building another tower next door which made it a bit noisy, but it was interesting to watch the construction. My daughter was 7 back then and I remember her climbing the rock/stone at reception. Crossing the streets was a bit of a challenge with all the bikes. My wife found a great restaurant not far from the hotel, best food ever. Great memories

I think we stayed at the Park Hyatt Saigon around the same time you were there. Coming back to Saigon in a few months and decided to stay at the ICR for a few days. Hopefully it hadn't changed much since you were there.

It looks a bit dated and pricey i think. Sedona Suites or Sherwood Suites may be better options in this price range (the food at Sedona Suites is really great). Thank you for your video!
For pre-Covid prices I might have to agree with you. I think this property is all about location, location, location relative to many consulates in the area and it has a balcony which is rare for aparthotels in Saigon. Sedona Suites (and quite a few other residential style hotels) are on my list though! Thanks for watching!
