Thank you, I watched your video in hopes I would get some tips, tried my first event, I didn't have high hopes but thought oh well got to be in it to win it, plus will be experience and nice to see how many fish I can catch before someone wins it, I was on a small stretch and took a while for pools to starts popping up, once they did they didn't stop, I could always see at least 1 more close by, got to 38 fish and no winners when I released I could win this, sure enough 19 minuets I had my 40 and HS back to claim my prize, I did go back to see if I could get the fish that adds +5 fishing line but ended up with 2 that reward the fishing hat
@@Icosiol Yes won first try, Just come back to get ready for Wrath and was going to check it out last week but I forgot to lvl up my fishing, made it priority this week, not sure if 19 minutes is good/bad/average, maybe everyone else was rubbish this week, I've no idea but I aint complaining :)
After just doing the event, I can confidently say the #1 tip to win is to have a squad of 5-10 people follow you around and kill anyone of the opposing faction nearby
If you're watching this now, its bugged. The even will reset 3-4 times most weeks during the 2-4pm timeframe. Multiple winners will be announced so if you don't win, just stick around until the npc respawns!

I don't know if the tourney is currently bugged but today on my server Whitemane, they where giving out top prizes to anyone who brought in 40 fish. When I walked up to Riggle Bassbait there was two of him standing inside each other. One let me complete the quest the other did not. I watched multiple people do the same thing.
@@dontknow3949 Ya I went there again and the NPC rests about once every 10 mintues after the first winner. You just have to be fast and get it from anyone else who might be standing around.
I may see if I can get a Warlock buddy to summon up north to get away from the crowds ASAP. Any recommendations on good fish cluster locations if distance from Booty Bay isn't a concern?
Sevenpants the pools are all pretty evenly spaced from what I could tell. You can be anywhere you like in the zone. You don’t have to start in Booty Bay.
Yes. As far as what I recall, and looking up as much information as possible I do believe rare fish can only be caught in Tastyfish pools. Might be something for me to test on the PTR.

Teristar1 don’t need it. I won with a 40 mount, but I did have some Warlock summoning. Also use speed potions and rocket boots (risky).
I don't even have a mount and I won it today on Faerlina haha #druidlife
