- Back with a very easy slow stitching project for Roxy’s Journal of Stitchery for the prompt of a slow stitch vessel, container or bowl. #Roxysjournalofstitchery #rjos5
In this video I will show you an easy way to make a fabric hand stitched bowl using just 12 pentagons. You can easily download or copy a template from an online source.
All you will need is some fabric, some felt, some uhu glue, an iron and some threads.
It’ll probably only take you a little over an hour to finish.

I say your dually when I say it I normally do a circle movement with my finger at the side of my head which is my way of saying your nuts / bonkers 🤪 . As for the weather I’m in the south west (Devon) costal it’s always a very nice heat and when we get really hot days it’s not very humid pleased to say . I’m from Essex originally now that is very hot and humid in the summer . What a cute bowl TFS Christine x

Hi Christine, your little bowl is adorable. I plan to make one too but I've got to use a different fabric because I looked into getting some of the same as yours and it's a bit pricey and then shipping from Australia is expensive too. I think I'm gonna make mine with Winnie the Pooh fabric as I love anything Pooh. I'm also gonna make mine a little bigger. I've rewound and played the end of this video about a dozen times. Thank you Christine for your video and company today. This little bowl is gorgeous but oh my gosh that fabric is adorable. It sounds a lovely Australian nursery story. I could just see a set of different sizes bowls being so useful in a craft room. Here in the South of the UK it has been a lovely sunny day. I am inside stitching, never been a sun worshipper but still managed some issues with the face,so,no garden for me at the moment while I have some treatment and a hat if I do go out in daylight. Maybe I am a vampire😂😂 Glad your dad is on the mend and I bet he is feeling much brighter in himself.
Sorry to hear you e had some face issues, Carol. I have to be careful too with quite pale skin. Always a hat and long sleeve shirt when out in the garden in sumner but even then the sun is sometimes harsh. Cheers, Christine
