Hey Christine. Since meeting you in Mallacoota Oppy I've been 'Hooked', 'stitched up' into shopping online for 'stuff' & Oppy. LOL 😂. I've now almost completed my 3rd creation, a needle book that's way too big ( thick for its cover) so will probably need to make a bag to pop it in LOL. BUT I love it. I keep finding things to add to it.... I have so many projects in my head now I'm going to have to begin writing them down so I don't forget 😂... I love watching all your videos & have begun watching Kate in the nest too. So many fabulous ideas come from your videos Enjoy bright, cheers Gail Rands Mallacoota

That lace and embroidered tablecloth at 9 minutes is gorgeous! You always find so many beautiful little treasures! The blue and white embroidered napkin at the 27th minute is so pretty and delicate All that lovely huge quilt for only $1?!? That’s craziness! Such an awesome find! (Also, hi Travers! That’s an excellent videobomb!)

Lovely haul !!! No you can't get anything like this in the UK especially on the Isle of Wight ,I,m always looking, but not very lucky . I have been so lucky to have been sent 2 bags this week from my bestest friend who lives in Morwell, Victoria , Australia , when I opened them it was like Christmas xx

Great haul, love the doilies. I bought a box of Irish linen napkins at a car boot sale a few months ago for £1.50, similar to those you have in your haul. Not sure that I want to cut into them, but I felt they needed an appreciative home.

Another lovely haul. When I lived on the Gold Coast, I would get some lovely old linens in the op shops for next to nothing. I just don’t see anything like it in the Uk.

Oh my goodness, you have such a lot of special pieces to add to your family quilt. I'm curious on how you will work on the sections near the middle. It seems like a stretch to reach those areas further from the edge. Looking forward to seeing this progress....

Oh Christine! Your "quilt in progress" is magnificent💕💕 It is such a treasure of memories and tributes to your family. Simply AWESOME! If space permits, I think it would be beautiful hung on a wall as an art quilt to showcase. However you choose, it will definitely be an amazing heirloom. Our dog Cleo had fun at doggie day care came home exhausted so been sleeping on my lap which is nice as I am exhausted too. Second wind has kicked in thanks to your video and I will be busy making tea for everyone soon.

Beautiful memories quilt. Im still watching but just wanted to say I think that silver buckle is a nurses buckle. They are very special and usually bought by a family member ti celebrate passing as a nurse x

That’s such a cool design, and I love the heritage behind the heirloom blanket. Your embellishments are really beautifully done. The beehive and button tree are fantastic. How will you display the piece? It definitely needs to be seen! Do you think you’ll add a “roadmap” through your quilt, or the meanings and stories represented? You could use your fabric printing to include those bits of history in more detail and add them into a pocket on the quilt. It would be a shame if someone found it without knowing the significance in the future - and those stories won’t get lost.

H Christine, this is a long shot... but sometimes when on a particular hypertensive drug people have symptom of a persistent cough & tickle, requiring a different drug. Not even sure u would be medicated as mentioned. Just dropping in this info as it happened to me. Cheers Deb'S
