These are great, I will probably be given a T14 Gen 4 at my job in the not too distant future, and some collegues already have it, and are very happy with it. To be honest, if it were up to me, I'd keep my current P15 Gen 2 forever, It's a chunky boi but it just doesnt care about anything you throw into, or to it, LOL. Better than a Dell Precision 7730 I had before, and miiiiiiles better than any of the HP crap i've had on other jobs. I was so impressed that I recently bought a second hand T43P, just for fun.
I'm still very happy with it. It goes through a lot, I also carry it everywhere and so far not a single scratch on it. Durability is still there on those.
If the display is very important to you then the HP but I would choose Lenovo over HP any day. I'm not the biggest fan of them. The Elitebook lineup is pretty ok though I must say.
Still very good, I use it every day and I'm very happy with it. For me it's plenty fast, my only point of criticism is that the screen is a bit dull and not so bright, but overall a very nice laptop. Also very sturdy.
Hi, thanks for your review. I'm trying to find a new budget laptot for work (I am a frontend developer). Do you think that T14 G1 can fit my needs or it is too old? I hope that it can last another 1-2 years
Thanks for the vid! I'm just looking for a budget laptop for programming and thinkpads were on my mind for years
Great laptop for programming! Can totally recommend you this one.

Nice review. Would you suggest this or HP elitebook 845 G7 which has the same processor but a better display and a worse keyboard?

how is it holding up? I don't know if i should buy it used for 350 euros....? I would use it for some light music production and coding...

Would you reommend this or the t480?
It depends. If you want more power then definetely the T14 but if you want a more budget oriented option the T480 is a good deal.
@@MacintoshMen which one do you think will last longer? I need it just for CZcams, web browsing and stuff only
They'll both last long. It really depends on your budget. If you only do the stuff you said a T480 is easily enough@@somebody69747
@@MacintoshMen thanks

I'd say it's plenty powerful. Of course it always depends on what you're doing but I think it's still a very capable machine.
My t14 actually is pretty bright for me, maybe its the sad screen lottery doing you bad man ;v;
Maybe, you are right, yes. I'm not that happy with mine.
@@MacintoshMen perhaps change the screen? In my city at least there are some vendors who can change your thinkpad screen for a better one
i use lenovo legion
Also good
im actually downgrading from a Legion 5 to a t14, for portability
right...@@ConsecDesign
