- Want a quicker DIY project to spruce up your home decor during these times of social distancing and quarantining? Look no further! This project took us about 8 hours total to complete and looks great! These are great for decorating any room or style such as farmhouse, coastal, or even modern depending on what type of edges and trim you use!
These are 3 wood DIY lanterns that look a lot better than anything you could pick up at the dollar tree. With some LED candle lights and some other small decorations they can turn out awesome!
Lots of the wood was just from the scrap bin or left over from other projects.

Always hold the piece between the fence and the blade the way you did that is a way to get hurt fast.
Thanks for sharing and providing the detailed cut list
No problem! Thanks for watching!
Just a note - never leave wood uncontrolled between the fence and blade. Push it on through. Kickbacks hurt and can send you to the hospital.
Thanks for the lantern idea!
Love the 2-tone look!
100% agree! I will be looking out for that in the future! Glad you liked it!

What was the name of the crown molding use used? Is it used for ceilings of base boards ?
Hi, great build. I'm just a little confused. I'm Not trying to negative but what size go in the middle of the crown molding. It will help everyone to know what size wood you are using at the time you are using them. Thanks for sharing.
Highly appreciate the question! All the listed sizes are in the description!! Let me know if you need more specific details, but all should be there!
I like your video and the lanterns, especially the top. Only problem I have is the sleeves and open jacket on her. Not a good safety measure.
Thanks for the safety input! PPE and safety techniques are key!
What router bit did you use
Is she smoking a cigarette as well????
