@@jabbadabo9570 to be fair, I listened on phone speakers and the nasty bass tone immediately caught my attention haha. But I couldn't distinguish if it's real bass or MIDI. I just listened on studio headphones and still can't really tell if it's real or fake. It might be fake but programmed really well or actually played aggressively with a pick. Honestly I lean towards the first haha

Even if you're not a fan of Emmure, you definitely have to admire Frankie's maturity on this record and the overall progression of their sound
I love this, I was really into limp bizkit and korn when I was younger. Then I heard some local metal bands and got into death metal and all the cores and said Fred durst was wack for many years. But now I'm loving all of it. Emmure has always been a great band, reel feeling to it that's relatable and therapeutic for people with a range of strong emotions. Glad this mashup happened. Good stuff.

in my opinion, Emmure did a GREAT job on this album - they managed to write very brutal stuff which is really entertaining at the same time, with the use of pretty minimal structure choices - balance here is GOLD. very few have this "feel"
This song makes me sad. The inner stuggle with your demons. Sometimes it looks like you just can't win, like at the end. Great song and great anime video.

This is the album that IS missing Josh Travis' style in favor of being the millionth band to "bring back the nu". Look at Yourself had a lot more of Travis' writing style although quite stifled also. Look at Yourself and slave to the game are the only emmure albums that had a start to finish listen with no cringe anywhere
This album took a few listens to grow on me but I absolutely love it
