A year late, but we know so little about the members of Turquoise October that Marina being a member at one point is a real possibility. One headcanon I saw in a fanfic I really like takes the fact that Octavio is Turquoise October's producer and pushes it to the next level. Essentially, music is so important to society that in order for an Octarian to qualify for the most elite military positions, they have to join Turquoise October and help make at least one song good enough for Octavio to approve of and release. It explains why there's no canon information on the individual members, there's been too many to keep track of and they're always changing, and where Marina's first serious exposure to her passion for music came from
For Turquoise October second cover on the left bottom corner there is a “parental advisory explicit content” logo there. Does that mean that we are listening to octolings cuss?

Not just that, but there are also other hints of their connection sprinkled out through both games. 18:35 I wonder what that black and white square is at the bottom, maybe Inkopolis's/Octo Valley's version of the parental advisory logo (Also, props for making the first song my favorite song in the game)
Okay, I have a crazy theory. You know how Callie's vocals in all of the Turquoise October songs are reversed? Well, I may have an answer. It may be far fetched, but *Callie may be trying to send subliminal messages to Agent 4 and Marie.* Think of it this way: Octavio has no idea what Callie's saying, since he most likely can't speak *fluent* Inkling (Octavio probably knows some, but he can't fully understand it since he's an Octoling). He just thinks her vocals sound good and make music to go behind them. In reality, Callie's singing her parts in their most famous songs in reverse, making the "lyrics" sound like "help me" or "free me". This is a sign for Agent 4 and Marie. Callie may just be trying to give out information on how to save her without Octavio knowing. But Agent 4 and Marie didn't catch on. It was too late by the time the final battle began. Octavio and his Octarian Army caught on to Callie's plan and brainwashed her further, which explains why she was so defensive and ruthless during the final battle, and why Marie's charger shot has so much effect on her. (This is my own headcannon, you can tell me in the replies if anything doesn't make sense or anything you want me to consider adding.)
This actually makes a lot of sense, I always like trying to make theory’s for stuff like this so here was mine Callie was sad about the splat fest and the Octarians got her in a not good state, so they where easily able to brainwash her. So then she was like mkay guys since I’m one of you now imma help you with your bad music, see let’s take my songs without Marie since I’m better than her. It kinda shows since the splatoon 2 songs are so much more upbeat. I really like your theory tho, I’ll have to add it to my list of possible theory’s
Tornado Shuffle (Battle Beat) is the best Turquoise October song and its technically not in this Oh well there's the Unnoticed version so i ain't gonna complain

Tentacular Circus: *exists*
Sound effects board: _guess im gonna die tonight_
wait- youre telling me that some songs of splatoon 1 are in splatoon 2 :O
this first half brings back memories. I only really play splatoon 2 now. reminds me of all the fun times I had playing splatoon 1, it's hard to describe but just a nice feeling. i guess a video game can go a long way, more than you think.
24:48 if you listen closely you will hear the beginning main of Fly Octo Fly
Octo valley is 𝚋𝚞𝚎𝚗𝚘

*BEANS*
Tentacular Circus is so Iconic.
Agent 3 and 4 be like: I hate those dang Octarians, but man does thier music bop.
This sounds epic with headphones
18:35 I wonder what that black and white square is at the bottom, maybe Inkopolis's/Octo Valley's version of the parental advisory logo (Also, props for making the first song my favorite song in the game)
Yeah it is
Yeah
Okay, I have a crazy theory. You know how Callie's vocals in all of the Turquoise October songs are reversed? Well, I may have an answer.
It may be far fetched, but *Callie may be trying to send subliminal messages to Agent 4 and Marie.*
Think of it this way: Octavio has no idea what Callie's saying, since he most likely can't speak *fluent* Inkling (Octavio probably knows some, but he can't fully understand it since he's an Octoling).
This actually makes a lot of sense, I always like trying to make theory’s for stuff like this so here was mine
Callie was sad about the splat fest and the Octarians got her in a not good state, so they where easily able to brainwash her.
Tornado Shuffle (Battle Beat) is the best Turquoise October song and its technically not in this
Oh well there's the Unnoticed version so i ain't gonna complain
YeeY
The anthem of the Vibers
one part of octo valley area sounds like megalonavia
I was doing a science assignment about fossils while listening to this and got a 100% .
I hate how when inklings and octolings touch water they die of cringe.
In octoarmaments it sounds like there wiping a window
Making cephaloparade:
"Hey, can you burp for this song?"
"What? that's nasty--"
*drinks coke*
*burps*
"That's all I needed, thanks."

I was listening to relaxing music and then youtube put booyant boogie (here I left this the last time)
Cephaloparade is one of my favorites
Am I the only who think that
Cephaloparade and Octoling Rendezvous are too amazing?
You can't hear sounds that aren't the...
5:54 **bink** FEEWWW BWWWHHHHHW
Tentacular circus is me when I'm sleeping (bc I never do lol)
Mom: get's a phone call from school saying I was misbehaving
Mom when she gets home from work with a belt in her hand: 29:44
🤣 this will be the best boss fight
I never played the first game, but when I hear the songs used in the second game I have war flash backs to the worst level that uses the song I’m listening to, like shooting starfish reminds me of level 25 (if I’m correct it was one with moving platforms) I hate that level so much, my drifting controller made it so hard
Shooting starfish and what it reminds me of really makes me feel pain
Octoling Rendezvous gives me chills after Girl Power Station
tornado shuffle is assosiated with bad memories for me jeez
i can still hear the ayy-wymee death sound effect
“Wommy ):”
tentacular circus brings back too much stress memories of me failing again and again and again and again and agai-
