My review of the medium-weight, pick up and deliver Euro game Sand by ‪@devirgames7900‬ . I haven't loved any other pick up and deliver board game that I have tried. Will this game win me over?

Just to add to this beautiful review:
It is a very tight, medium-weight game. Yet, the other I taught it to a complete rookie in the game world, someone who has only played less than a handful of board games (Ticket to ride: Europe being the most difficult one she has touched) and she almost won the freaking thing, if it wasn't because on my friends realized she could sell some stuff for a better price on her last turn (she won by 4 points). So yeah, it may be a little tough on how much you may have to think at first, but after your first full round it becomes very obvious how to play it.
I recommend people to be very orderly when explaining how to play it because it can be a tad daunting at first, but nothing really serious.
And finally, don't make the same mistakes I did:
- you can sell your goods even if you already used all your action tokens aka all your round dice tokens were slid up.
- you can refill the cubes on the last round, what doesn't happen is that you don't get new missions.
- don't forget that last round (fifth for 4P, sixth for less than 4P). It might be a little confusing bc of the design of those mission cards, but the last round is still there.
- you CAN sell artifacts and handicrafts in the villages, although they'll always give you the least amount of money for them.
