However there were a few key mistakes: 11:08 I don't think he needs to flip any action tokens, or "commit" to a cube. Rulebook says he can carry a total of 2 boxes in each spot, so a total of 8, regardless of color. So he could totally pick up another blue, or even a 3rd one, 4th one.... etc. Same at 14:20, he could have collected the white cube. 11:50 "way down here" is not a location. It's just a reference telling you that the special goods (the crafts and relics) can be sold at EVERY city for the lower price. So at this point he should have sold that pink cube for 4 coins in that city he stopped in. (Or technically even before that, since he definitely visited other cities during the time he had the pink cube.)

After so many years in one tightly-packed room, it has an atmosphere of you being trapped in a basement, being sent new board games through bars, and forced to straight up review them all. One Devir game that I have, which is very very good, is Michael Strogoff. It's available on their website. And this is a strong recommendation which *should be* a must-buy for you: Legacies by Brookspun Games. I really really love this one, and it's a hidden gem (as they say) for solo players. The solo system is very solid, and you can play with two categories of A.I., one of which allows you to play against more than one A.I. Believe me, one A.I. is enough for me! Just a very good game. I would rate it 8.5 out of 10 on a solo scale.
I owned Michael Strogoff years ago. I played my fill of it and ended up selling g it. Now Legacies has intrigued me, but I saw several non-recommendations for the solo mode. Were those unfounded? Is it a tough solo mode to execute?
@@JohnLaRuffa what do you mean by “having your fill of it”? I haven’t found that to be the case. At least not yet. When I first considered getting Legacies, I read more positive things about the solo than negative. I think I saw one negative thing about it mentioned by one BGG user, but it didn’t bother me. I bought the game and love it.

The movement that the bot do is not so clear to me. For example, the bot is somewhere in the middle of the map and he must do a 3 clockwise movement. How I decide which is the first shortcut, in order to count all of the 3?
Look very closely at the board and you will see a small symbol that looks like a compass. You start counting in the direction of the arrow on the card from that compass. Thanks!

@TheCycco they are all the same. The cards only difference is the direction you go and the number of paths you count.
