Makes me wonder how many other beings are out there in the Adventure Time multiverse that are just as bad if not worst then the Lich

@Paxw, unfortunately, I believe it's just stories from Simon, so we won't get to likely see the lich hand.
However, seeing as though we've seen gender bent versions of characters, it's likely we'll see a female lich, or, just the regular allpresent lich.
Ice King has canonically met the lich at one point in time, so it wouldn't be far to assume he kept that memory in Simon, too.
@@sivlare3476then, again… there is somehow no, ice queen. Simon looks older and this is a story about multiverse hopping. We might see him either in a past timeline or references from Simon himself. The new villain has an ability of existence erasure. I just want to see more betty-Golb since it has Simon involved and GOLB can erase anything by consumption but it’s most likely a different villain.
Seeing as how Golb appears similar to the Martian surface I wonder if Golb takes on aspeects of every place he visits, like what if he actually succeeded in digesting Betty from existence and took on aspects of her, considering Gunther wished to become the Ice King, Betty may not have had enough time to fulfill the wish.
Hmmm... could be. Or that he was originated on Mars...

aside from glob and golb having the same letters in their name, i like to think the reason for that name is because you "golb" before something bad happens, or death.
Bro you blew my mind with the golb/litch being representations and agents of change. It does make sense with the litch being in the mushroom bomb and the catalyst commet.
Although it has been said that the litch just wants to destroy all life so maybe the litch mistakes the purpose golb? He thinks his chaos is meant for destruction, not to spark change?
Totally could be, that the Lich is somehow corrupted and doesn't fully understand what Golb stands for
In the episode it is showed, it says the comedy itself wanted nothing but the destruction of all life
I think that Betty could find Prismo like the magic man (the Martian) did for the first time and in the end Simon. From what I understand, these two found another method to reach the prismo other than through the encaridion, that book is the magic gate, but to reach it the book will be destroyed in the process i think. Betty is not a fool and can formulate her single wish careful. There are many portal in Adventure Time and i think some can go directly to Prismo time-dimension room .The crystal world, the world of clouds and the world where dogs and unicorns where existed a war between them for example, are some of those worlds you can reach. If you can reach these worlds through spells, existing portals or creatures that are portals themselves, maybe through them you can reach prismo

Simon probably reached prismo from the method Prismo left for Jake for them being buddies. So Finn and Jake did him a favour and thwy took him there, even if, in the emd, he couldn't get what he wanted

I feel the biggest hole here is the fact that the lich as far as we know never made it to mars, nor had a way to ever get there
That is true. But knowing there is a transportation method on Ooo allowing you to travel to Mars, definitely could have happened at some point

@@auburneytuckerson2959ell human civilization had space travel around the time the mushroom bomb went off so it's possible after he appeared he took a ship to Mars. They've never mentioned him but then again in any episode with Mars he was never brought up. If that's the case it could explain why he was gone for so long aswell. Possibly wiped the city clean, Maybe stumbled upon Simons book about golb. Remembered his purpose stole a ship, went to mars learned a thing or two came back continued his journey of destruction with new knowledge and teachings and finally made his way back to Ooo where billy was waiting for him. If he just took a straight path destroying everything in his wake it would have made sense too because every clip we see of past humans trying to survive not once do we see the lich. Dude ran off somewhere and because of that it gave the world prep time.

We dont know much of margles but judging by the recent fionna and cake episode with the lich turning into one of the tetris around golbetty...my personal theory is that margles was probably one of the scholars of golb and the reason she cant be forced back by prismo is because she belongs to golb/betty. The last scene of them in my theory implies that they might be reincarnated in some form. Who knows maybe another comet an red one. The lich was the last one and now they are all together.
Wait that makes so much sense! She must’ve been turned into one of the green blocks around his head like the Lich. Wonder how and why she ended up worshipping him

Ok, so, ngl, i dont agree on the Golb lived on mars thing, we know he has been there and caused havoc, but not much else. But i like the idea of Golb being the one that causes change, and maybe that creates the catalyst comets (wich are all meant to be an agent of change) and that maybe him and Glob are somehow related, but that last one i doubt

Tldr: Golb is an ehanced Lich. Doesn't think, plan, feel beyond basic stimulus and response. It just is and just does, no purpose. And the Lich wants its powers in order to kill all life
When it comes to the Lich and Golb, I wonder if the Lich studied Golb for the power to erase life
Considering that the Lich's whole deal is mass extinction, and eventually complete extinction of not just the universe but, i think, the multiverse, studying Golb makes sense. Golb can erase anything from the multiverse by eating it. So just imagine all the lore lost...
But also going back to the Lich's speech to the KOO. It has 1 very weird part, the nothing. I mean if it was nothing it would simultaneously be an instant (and never have existed) but also almost infintely long since time wasn't a thing yet. So what if Golb is related to this?
I mean Golb represents change we all agree on that. But more specifically, entropy, chaotic change, change into things that just aren't useful (for life) in the end? Things that aren't alive but just are
So you had the monsters doing their thing as monsters. Then nothing, the time and the multiverse. But there's a really weird thing. Where did the monsters go for there to be nothing and how did (at least some of them) they come back like Orgalorb/Penguin Gunter?
Well what if it was Golb? Golb seems to be the most powerful thing (even has some symbolism with the Lich, you can delay them, temporarily push them back even make use of them, but they will eventually win). So what if Golb created the nothing by devouring the monsters (and then himself?) And caused the rest to follow including the muk time? I mean there was nothing so anything goes. What rules would there be to stop the creation of the multiverse?
One last thing. Golb is like an enhanced Lich. Even more robotic (as we see no express emotion. Even the glance at Puhoy instead of confusion could just be it observing, responding to the stimulus that was Finn?), more capable of removing life, more empty. The Lich has expressed areogance, anger. But Golb? Not much. Even the scream at the end may have been more Betty (or actually was Golb at being corrupted and having a purpose instead of just doing)

I'm not sure I buy the idea of the embodiment of non-existence being a servant to the god of chaos. Death is certain. You need life to have chaos.

Very interesting. Could also explain why the Lich is a scholar, because he was a catalyst comet. Really any music. I honestly listen to a lot of Adventure Time songs and Cartoon Network songs. Recently been listening to Lil Yachty's new album and a lot of Steve Lacy
@Paxw Steve lacy is pretty awesome also I think there is a kind of conflict between golb and the lich for the main reason that golb isn't destruction in the same way the lich is because the lich wants to irradicate all the universe but golb just wants it to be full of weird monsters so idk
@@lambda1863 Yeah I think someone pointed it out here already, but I think the Lich might not fully understand what Golb represents. He might bring chaos but that's for change. While the Lich just thinks it's chaos for no reason
