Congratulations 🎈🎊🍾
Thank you for being an inspiration! I watch ur videos and feel like I can grow in this field.
And you definitely can!! 🥰
At cvs they give you a 2$ raise for the immunization certificate
That’s amazing 🤩
I have been watching your videos and yesterday I took my exam and passed. Thank you so much your videos are so helpful.
You’re very welcome 😉
Congratulations 🎈🎊🎉
Thank you
Blessing to you!!! I wanting to ask if you are able to do a video on Health Insursnce & Billing for a Pharm Tech...thank you so much for your generous time here on YT...I am learning a lot...I got my books my notebook pencils and I am taking notes 💜
Ok. I actually just took notes on that. I’ll make that my next video just for you ❤️
I just became a CPHT and currently work at Walgreens. I’m going to get hands on practice there while studying to get my certification.
I think that’s a great idea, Walgreens is a great place to start. They may be a little fast-paced, but it will prepare you as a future pharmacy technician.
I did take the exam 3 weeks ago to become an immunizer through PTCB. However, I took the course through NPTA. I do appreciate how they allow you to use notes, but you still need to know the information.
Awesome!
Hello, can you explain more about NPTA… what’s the cost, and what subjects has the program? And how long take the program?
Hi I’m Jeffrey I’m a lead tech at cvs and would like to get my immunization license. I am so loving your video! Im still watching only half way through so it may be preemptive, but I do have a question. Lol Will I be able to administer vaccines once I finish the immunization program through the other company, or do I have to complete said program, then get my immunization certificate from PTCB in addition, to administer vaccines? Of course this is assuming you’re PTCB certified and CPR certified. I understand it also counts as a step towards the advanced CPhT credential but I want to know if I can immediately start vaccinating once I complete the first program or do I need both the program certificate of completion and PTCBs certificate to do it?
Hi there, these are all new programs through PTCB. I had to call several time to get the correct understanding. I do know there’s two credentials you can take where you can use on the job experience. I would definitely call them to confirm what’s needed. It’s on the website, but it’s still a little confusing for some ppl. Their number is 1 (800) 363-8012 I hope this helps.
hello there sugar! thank you for this video, is there any study material you recommend?? I am scheduled for my test within the next 2 weeks and i read that notes are no longer allowed seems like. Thank you in advance for any help and suggestions!
I have a lot of study materials throughout my videos. You can also visit Denalirx.com and receive a 15% discount using my discount code: Pharmacytechlove
@@PharmacyTechLove omg I'm so sorry I didn't clarify, im taking the test for the IMZ administration certificate thx for your reply
Okay, so if I do this training, how do I get practice before giving my first immunization? My pharmacist is really confused by that.
Visit the NPTA website to get all the information. You can call them as well @ 1 (832) 426-2676
Hey PharmTech Love😍 it's been a while girl. I want you to show us how we should be entering the covid-19 insurance info. I have struggling with it and sometimes I don't get it right.
Good morning. In the hospital setting we don’t handle the billing portion of COVID-19. I’m no longer in retail so I’m not sure how to find out that information. However I will call around and see if I can find it out for you.
It’s so confusing I agree. It takes practice. Most of the time I’m told to enter them as uninsured because it’s easier and speeds up the process when we have tons of appointments
@@Dizzyallaround same! I'm in retail, my rph is like just get it in under 5 min lol smh 🤷🏽♀️
Hello Ma'am, does the Denalirx website have training tools for the immunization certificate? I couldn't see it on their site . Tha ks

@@PharmacyTechLove Yay! Thank you! I have an exam on July 16th! Your videos have helped me a lot!
Excuse me, can I do the immunization training at rite aid and take the ptcb immunization administration exam?
Hello! That would be at the discretion of Rite Aid.
@@PharmacyTechLove how about ptu?
Can you get this certification if your CPhT certified through the nha and not the ptcb ?
Well, I don’t think so PTCB and NHA are two different entities but it does hurt to call and ask.
@@PharmacyTechLove Hey so I just started my first job as a pharmacy tech at Walmart and they offer the class for immunization certification to be certified to give immunizations 😋 thought id share because the NHA don’t offer anything like the PTCB. By the way I love your videos 💗
Is immunization administration certification same as IV certification? Please help
I go a job through mr James but I paid him so let me know if you need his info
Hello, those are not the same.
An immunization certification will allow you to administer immunization shots. Intravenous certification will allow you to manipulate sterile compounding medication’s.
Is there study material available?
Yes, everything is on the PTCB website.
Hey am new to your channel i love it 🥰🥰 i would like to know if i can take the immunisation exam if am certified pharmacy tech through continue education program but i dont have the PCTB license 🤭??
There’s no point in taking the immunization exam if you’re not a certified pharmacy technician. Unless there’s someway another profession offers it🤷🏽♀️
But i have my certificate CPHT . I went to school for 3 months program and i got my certificate isn’t that enough?! 🤭🤭
I would say for myself I’m not national certification and I work for a retail pharmacy and I’m certified to give shots. So you don’t depending your state and pharmacy you work at
Immunization certificate where do I get
Hey there! You can either apply through PTCB or NPTA. They are both great sources, there may have to be on the job training, but I would call both of them to find out.
