Still love Cavill's "reloading" his arms in the fight scene! 😂🤣👊😎👊
💘 Rebecca Ferguson 💗🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😁
Yes,that looked so cool,I just recently saw an interview he had where he explained that it was not part of the script but the director liked it so much that they kept it in the movie. He did explain why he did it but I forget the reason but it certainly paid off in the end.
@@michaelriddick7116 Oohhh Yeahhh!!
@@andrewmccormack4295it was essentially a warm-up stretch. They were doing a bunch of takes of the fight, and his muscles started seizing up, so he did that a few times. And after he stopped, the director asked him to keep it.
cavill reloading his fists like they're friggin shotguns is one of the all-time badass action movie moments
Why do people get so worked up about this? It was a sound in the trailer. In the actual movie he's just shaking his shirt sleeves out.
Fallout is so much better than Dead Reckoning
@@CharlieSozeCry more.
@KeSoze2 - not sure why people get worked up about it...
And personally, I'm looking at this movie from a different point of view.
The palces that Tom run through in London - I've been working next to them for a long time (St Paul's Cathedral for example).
The same with Tomb Rider (the one with Alicia Vikander, not Angelina Jolie). At some point she is running via small park. Hell, I've been eating lunch there for some time, again - close to the St. Pauls station this time, St. Martin's Le Grand Street (in the Postman's Park, pretty much have been there every day at some point), as I've been working in the building next to that location (nah, it wasn't Investec bank, which is just the opposite of that, but there is a very nice pub next to it too :)).
Note: I don't work there anymore, but I've spent probably 2 years there as a contractor. All between St.Pauls Station and Bank Station (close to all usuall places: Bank of England, London Stock Exchange, various banks such as Bank of America or even Goldman Sachs office).
Better? Yes. But not that much. The Story was much better in DR1
You need to see Tom talking about breaking his ankle on the building jump. The fact he stood up and began running just shows how intense TC is.
Yup, this ! Just CZcams search Graham Norton Mission Impossible Fallout when they talk through the video of it happening. Tom is a crazy lunatic, yet such a professional, but we love him for it right ? 😛
@@the_judge_8262he's the only insane billionaire cultist I'd actually be able to stomach

If it's not made clear, the White Widow is Max's (Vanessa Redgrave) daughter. Max is the arms dealer Kittridge arrests/recruits at the end of the first film.
which is cool, but it's a little wild how that means Ethan has duped/seduced a mother and her daughter like 30 years apart lol
@@deluxereissue Actually, it does. It explains Kittridge's relationship with her in 'Dead Reckoning'. He's literally known her since she was a child. It also explains why they have no problem using her as a "broker" to give Lane back to British intelligence. (And also why Ethan never reveals his identity to her. She is only ever told he's "John Lark")
@@TimDownsAnimation Ethan just like Tom is actually quite old lol.
@@deluxereissue It matters in the new one.
Director : Let's use CGI
Tom : I am CGI ( Cruise Going insane )
Can't get enough of the kids entrance and all that comes with it
I read somewhere that the bathroom fight took two weeks to film, it's this level of care that makes these movies so damned good and enjoyable.
Yeah, Cruise did all the helicopter stuff at the end. I believe he learned to fly helicopters for this movie and did some of actual piloting in the sequence. Whatever one may think of the guy he always gives his all to give audiences their money's worth.
The halo-jump scene gave new meaning to the term "Fallout"
Also the guys in the van who all fallout.
And the plane over Paris of which they fallout.
And the part in the helicopters where they fallout.
Even in the sixth installment, the Mission: Impossible films remain a breath of fresh air amidst the CGI-fueled superhero spectacles
Seeing Henry Cavill’s air fist punching “I’m ready. Let’s do this.”, always amps me up. Like what I do(try) when I’m about ready to start hitting the punching bag.
Fun fact: Vanessa Kirby's character (White Widow) is the actually the daughter of Max from the first Mission: Impossible. As far as Lane being handed over to Mi6 goes, trust me... he's as good as dead.
That very cool-looking rock cliff where Ethan and Walker/Lark fight at the end is a real place in Norway, and I've been there!! It's called Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock)
You've gotta go on a 4hr hike (round trip to and from the car park. It only gets a little tricky in some places, even then... It's manageable. It used to be tougher, but Nepalese Sherpas were brought on to improve the route) in order to reach it and it's a LOT of fun and the detination is 100% worth it.
It is a V E R Y beautiful place. Beautiful misty looking cliffs, and then a gorgeous fjord.
I was VERY excited to go to that place cuz I LOVE this movie so much. 100% recommend going there if you're ever in Norway :)
The best Mission Impossible movie, so thrilling and great use of the team
easily the best soundtrack of any MI movie
Sean Harris is a wonderful actor & a great villian
Cavill was SO goddamn good in this. He's a criminally underused actor.
Saw this in the theaters when it came out, that shot of Tom hauling ass as he's closing in on "John Lark" near the tower had everyone clapping and cheering in the cinema lol, also Little Ms Movies asking for cheese and apples is the cutest thing ever
It was so good. I worked for two years right there next to St. Paul's cathedral in London where the chase begins & was doing the "Pointing Rick Dalton" meme for that entire sequence.
This movie is absolutely the STANDARD, from actions, emotions, storyline, the score. Goodness me, the foot chase scene, helicopters scene gave me THE chills. This stands with Ghosts Protocol and MI3 for me. I love how you were scared for Ethan as much as I did lol, love your reaction guys!
Few things
“Did we get it?”
“We got it”
Was a reference to
mi:1 where Ethan and Claire say it at the opening scene.
Yes the skydiving is real, a cameraman with a camera on his helmet jumped before Hunt to get the shot.
The reason walkers mask fogs up is because that’s not Cavill, he wanted to do it but wasn’t experienced enough so Tom said no.
The only reason his helmet has lights is so we can see it’s Tom. They did the stunt dosens of times to get it right. The lightening and Paris was cgi, they actually jumped over an empty field.
Tom broke his ankle while chasing Cavill through London
Brandt wasn’t here because he was busy filming something called avengers
The white widow is the daughter of max from MI:1. The line about paradox’s was the give away.
The scene where Hunt imagines killing French cops was filmed behind a white plastic sheet, because after all the terror attacks in France, the crew didn’t want French people to see police being killed again.
The kiss the white widow gave Ethan was improvised by Vanessa Kirby
Ethan and Luther are the only characters in all movies while Alec Baldwin was the first actor to play the secretary twice.
1.kittridge
2.Hopkins
3.fishborne
4.Wilkerson
5. Baldwin
6.Baldwin
Tom learned to do helicopter acrobatics for this movie, 8 hours a day for 3 months to get certified and licensed. He did stunts in this movie experiences helicopter pilots wouldn’t risk, like the corkscrew.
They had to film the helicopter scene in New Zealand because that’s the only country that gave the production permission to try these stunts.
Sean Harris (soloman lane) said he hates doing franchises and only agreed to MI:5 on the understanding that his character would die so he couldn’t come back, and he was the first villain to survive and be brought back for the sequel, and once again they didn’t kill him lol
No spoilers because I don’t know but I doubt that lane will be in dead reconning.
I haven’t seen 7 yet but I’d wager he will be returning for 8. Bring back him and maybe Brandt to end a few arcs that have been slow building in the back.
If he does return I feel like we need a top side character to die. Probably Rebecca Furguson. But maybe Simon Pegg 😱😱 but yeah. Stakes gotta be brought back in because they feel like fast and furious characters now, even with the friendship is family thing 🤷🏾♂️😂😜
Never thought I would get an Ace Ventura callback during a MI reaction, but it was perfect!
"Tom cruise can catch anybody if he runs". It's true. Man is like a scientology powered human cheetah who karate chops the air in front of him as he goes.
The jump to the building "he slams into it", he actually broke his ankle. You can see him limping away after he pulls himself up to the roof
The opening was a callback to the first MI. The whole set up and "Did we get it? We got it."
This is it. THIS is the best one.
8:55 .....There it is; the moustache that cause so many memes..... 2017 was a wild year🤣🤣
Great one guys. I think my favorite callback was on the plane before the high altitude jump, when Ethan asked Walker "Are we clear?" and Walker replies "crystal", in a clear reference to Cruise's scene in A Few Good Men. Laughed out loud. I wonder if Henry Cavill improvised that line.
He probably didn't improvise it.
That particular question & answer is a pretty common way of emphasizing that you want the other person to be 100% on the same page with you. At least it is amongst professions where misunderstanding/miscommunication can have catastrophic consequences.
@@pauld6967 Maybe, but it's also a quote from one of Tom Cruise's most well-known scenes in history, and you don't add a well-known Tom Cruise quote into a script starring Cruise by accident.
czcams.com/video/wYqgHXFBWbg/video.html
@@CharlieSoze I understand the connection. Just as I understand it was likely in _'A Few Good Men'_ because the movie's military advisor mentioned "this is what a guy like Jessup would say."
The best of the franchise - the bathroom brawl and the climactic cliffhanger is everything. Seeing the latest in IMAX ( like all of them) in a few days - can't wait.
I feel the latest one definitely needs part 2 to be complete so you can feel that it can measure up to Fallout, however, part 1 is an excellent follow up still
43:50 Fun Fact: Simon Pegg and Rebecca Ferguson was watching Tom Cruise do that stunt in New Zealand. What they didn't know was that TC's fall was planned; they genuinely thought the stunt went wrong. Someone on the film crew even went on the radio and said, 'I think we've lost Tom!'
24:34 Fun Fact: Jeremy Renner was offered a small bit as Brandt at the Plutonium exchange at the start, where Brandt would get killed. He declined the pay check.
My personal favorite of the series. My ranking is
1.Fallout
2. Rogue Nation
3. Ghost Protocol
4. III
5. I
6. II
I do really like Dead Reckoning.
The only major complaint I have is killing Ilsa. She is my favorite character in the franchise, and her death didn't really have the emotional impact that it would've had if they had found a way to make it a meaningful death. But they basically fridged her.
@@gorndd I haven't seen the movie yet. Pretty crappy of you to spoil it. Thanks

When you called out the wolf blitzer staged report. I was like yeah you both are Mission Impossible experts now like the rest of us fans of the franchise!! It such a great catch. Appreciate the reactions!
Just came back from the new movie. Mind blowing. I hope you guys love it when its released digitally! It's very long though, and you REALLY have to pay attention.
I can’t believe you called the Wolf Blitzer twist. That blew my mind in the theatre
“Whats wrong with your face?”
What every daughter hopes to hear from her mother.
My favorite one! Even though I know there’s no way they were going to blow up the bombs I was an absolute wreck for those last 20 minutes. I don’t think I blinked! Also love the plane jump and the bathroom fight. Just so so beyond cool.
I saw Mission: Impossible #7 (Dead Reckoning - Part 1) yesterday and it continues to be good like the early seasons of the television show, i.e. teamwork and needing the audience to pay attention.
I will definitely be adding it to my Blu-ray collection.
I can't say why, for reasons that will later become obvious to you two, but it is definitely a good thing that you have watched the first six movies.
"He just got handed a VHS copy of The Goonies"! That made me laugh way too loudly...
37:19 Fun Fact: That was the moment Tom Cruise broke his ankle for real!
Oof, Alec Baldwin saying "I think this one is loaded." has a *very* different vibe now.
The biggest and best of the bunch.
Christopher Mcquarrie as director just raising the bar even more than before to a major level.
In IMAX, it was a must see and no way you saw it first in another format.
Henry Cavill as August Walker (wow).
Vanessa Kirby as The White Widow and daughter of a character from M-I:1 (cool).
Baldwin & Bassett as the bosses (hell yeah).
I remember in early 2019; Cruise, Paramount and Skydance annouced back to back sequels of one story as the final installment.
Of course, everything was pushed back to now and all worth waiting for.
Glad you enjoyed you all the missions so far.
M-I:7 part 1 was incredible too.
You won't be disappointed.
That church is St Paul's Cathedral. That place at the top is what is known as the "whispering gallery" where two people can stand on opposite sides and whisper to each other.
Henry Cavill is a cool bad guy in this movie
Great timing since I’m seeing Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning part 1 tonight I can’t wait.
I love how family always comes first in these MI reactions.
Ms Movies with the SICK Henry Cavil impression 😂
Tom Cruise spent 2 years learning to fly a helicopter for the conclusion of this movie. He's flying the helicopter, acting and filming all at the same time. Julia is a doctor not a nurse.
Been looking forward to this one and Henry's reloading arms ;)
Just think if DC had made a Black Adam v Superman movie and during the fight scene Cavill does his arm reloading as Superman LOL!
"Cheese and a pickle!" Loving that! ;D
14:53 Best scene in the entire movie. And Mrs Movies does a perfect impression
@34:36 the most dangerous stunt of Henry Cavill's career.
That part where he slammed against the building did happen and they left it in. They had to wait until he healed to resume filming.
Mrs Movies really doesn't do well with a count down does she? Very entertaining to watch though.
MI Fallout is just peak Masterclass
1:Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (the only movie you 2 weren’t able to guess what was happening, btw)
2: Mission Impossible: Fallout
3: Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning part 1 (it’s fun)
4: Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation
5: Mission Impossible & Mission Impossible 3 (too close to say which I like better)
7: Mission Impossible 2
I missed Jeremy Renner, but he couldn’t be in this movie because he was filming Avengers: Endgame.
I think Cruise did the Halo jump scene like 101 times to get the right shot. Guy is dedicated as hell
37:19 that is the moment Tom broke his leg/ankle by hiting the wall
Yeah, the scence where you said, I hate it when he hits the wall and he pulls himself up he had broken his ankle, but pulled himself upvand ran / hobbled past the camera. Then yell its a rap. Abd plan a vacation. Then six weeks later he was back in set. The crew said thats so TC. And yes this was better than the last one only because their ramping up the tension with each successive instalment.
Ghost Protocol is still my favorite movie of the bunch.
34:40 Alec Baldwin not being sure which gun is loaded.
The lightning did hit Walker. It blew up his oxygen tank and knocked him out.
That's the same mustache they had to CGI out in the Superman movie, because he was filming both at the same time 😆
That fight in the bathroom: WOW 🤯🤯
he scene where walker says to the CIA lady that Hunt could be lark. He hands her the phone recovered from the guy in the Paris bathroom saying it could have evidence.
If you go back to the bathroom scene you can see that the Asian guys phone was smashed.
So early on they strongly hint at walker being bad.
Also in the press for the movie, where the actors go on the talk shows etc, Tom let slip while talking about his ankle injury, he’s was chasing Henry Cavill.
I think people assumed that if Henry Cavill is in the movie as a new lead character then he’s most likely the villain. Also because people wanna see Tom Cruise vs Henry Cavill, who’s about 20 years younger than Tom and about twice his size.
llsa Faust>Julia
Great reaction! 👍🏿 I love this film. But somehow, someway, MI:7 DR Part 1 is better than this movie. They upped the ante!! I've just seen MI:7 in IMAX. Tom Cruise is a legend. 🤯🤯
From me this is the best one.
Love Mary’s reaction to the detonator being knocked about on the cliff! 😆
Who's Mary?
@@YouMeTheMovies My bad. I thought Mrs movies name was Mary 🙄
My favorite MI movie. Its so good at ramping up tension & suspense. The characters are great and well fleshed out, the stunts are amazing, and the music/score is top notch. I havent seen Dead Reckoning yet, but will be seeing it tomorrow.
37:20 broken ankle. that limp he does in the next shot is because well, broken ankle.
Read up on the helicopter chase scene or the behind the scenes featurette. Cruise not only piloted his helicopter, but he had to control the cabin camera for the interior shots because a cameraman couldn't fit without being in the shot. He did all that and still had to act. That, the helo jump, and doing all his car work in the chase scene, made this the most insane installment in the MI franchise yet, as far as cruise doing his own stunt work.
Ghost protocol : G. O. A. T in the series
Rogue Nation : Best in the series
Fall out : Perfect in the series
Dead Reckoning : Thrill Ride at best
I'm sure someone already said it, but the roof jump the Mrs hated is the one that broke Tom's foot
I really loved this one. SO much tension and excitement. IMO They should have kept Cavill's character alive for another movie. He was a great addition to the franchise.
Tom Cruise decided to pilot the helicopter at the end. I heard he obtained his helicopter pilot's license in like 4-6 weeks of intense training. Hours upon hours day after day to be able to execute that sequence. The other thing people don't talk about is the HALO jump scene. Tom Cruise did REAL HALO jumps for that scene. Because he was unhappy with the shots, he did something like 130 jumps! That's more than enough to be a HALO Jump Master. Crazy how much fuel they used for that, but hey ... That's showbiz, baby.
Tom Cruise broke his ankle when he jumped across that last building jump had to shut down production.
Definitely a favorite franchise for me. Tom Cruise the last couple of years has become my favorite actor over Harrison Ford. Cruise films just seem to get better and better the older he gets where Fords films have been questionable for over a decade now. The last two Indiana Jones fils have been pretty unremarkable. Family has tickets to see Dead Reckoning tomorrow morning.
Cruise broke his ankle on the building jump and it slowed production for several weeks. According to behind the scenes stuff, the fall from the helicopter wasn't planned but Cruise was wearing a safety harness. They kept the camera's rolling. Rebecca Ferguson, Ilsa, actually commented in interviews, she thought they just lost Tom while filming the scene.
Ya know, I can't get over the momentary intrusions, they crack me up.. I remember being a little kid and just listening at doors to hear swear words.. What are the chances there's a kid just listening at ur guys door?? 😅
Cheese and a pickle. One of the all-time great American pairings. Like Scotch and rollerblading. Ahhh...good times.
*49:00** they really are the only true inheritor to the 80s action film.* they really dont make them like that anymore. except these. _JC
I've seen some good villains in these movies. It would have been interesting to continue with just Solomon Lane going against Ethan. But Henry Cavill character did a great job and almost got away with convincing Ethan had gone rogue.
The scene when Ethan jumps and smacks onto the ledge of the building is where Tom Cruise buggered (I think he broke a bone) his foot, but like a professional he climbed up took a few steps and finished the scene.
I know I commented this before but your technical difficulties is so cute 😄. might be the segment i like the most from all different youtube-reactors across the web.
The best Mission Impossible movie by far. And one of the greatest action movies of all time
6:23 damn, how precise '-'
I love when your daughter interrupts and y'all add the sound effects. It's a great break.
Its still quite funny that Mrs Movies once said she would be a great cop because here guesses are always right 😅😁
That's how I'm 100% asking for cheese from now on.
14:56 that was actually really good lol
Henry cavil is such an amazing actor, we need more of him.
also - the totality of the acting direction given to vanessa kirby: "you're super horny for ethan hunt. go!"
The halo jump was real, the lightning storm was all CGI.
Ill never have kids. All they want is cheese. And I wont give up my cheese!
😂
I’m 7 minutes in and I liked your post when I saw the little one, so adorable, Dad don’t get mad, kids will be kids, I had 4, so I know how they are, ❤ excellent reaction
Vanessa Kirby played Princess Margaret on The Crown.
When people saw Henry Cavill in Justice League, they thought he looked like Shrek.
Funny how Ilsa, a crazy-good fighter in her early thirties who was killing people left and right with her bare hands in the previous movie has a hard time taking out Solomon, a 50-year-old dude with a piece of firewood who spent the last few years in solitary confinement.
he was a highly trained agent, and you know, movie....
Rogue Nation and Fallout are neck and neck for me for #1 of the franchise. They're both perfection imo. Dead Reckoning is neck and neck with Ghost Protocol for me.
Not hating at all just curious if the cheese thing is like warm milk from where u guys are from?
Mission Impossible is the best consistently good movie series.
