It's important to know that ALL matcha products are good from a health viewpoint.
The ratings 'better' or 'best' are about artistic values --taste, fragrance, appearance.

i am more concerned about micro nutrients than flavour.. could ceremonial be much better in micro nutrients?

dan pagn That is a great question! There have been no studies comparing ceremonial vs culinary matcha in terms of micro nutrients, so no one can accurately claim that either one is superior in terms of health benefits.
Having said that, creating a high quality matcha involves higher standards when growing, harvesting, and processing the tea. Some believe that because of the high standards and greater attention to detail required in creating ceremonial matcha, the micro nutrients are more likely to be preserved in the final product.
      Hope that helps!

Hi You are comparing Ceremonial to Culinary It seems like you are concerned with the looks and the taste. I am more concerned on which one is better for my health.

white water That is a great question. As of this time, we are not aware of any studies comparing ceremonial vs culinary (high or low quality) matcha in terms of health benefits, so no individual or company can accurately make the claim that one is “healthier” than the other. That said, the study that suggested that Matcha has a fat burning effect was done using ceremonial Matcha. Check out this video czcams.com/video/IHc7gEQFZyA/video.html we created to talk more about that study, and other studies supporting the presumed health benefits of Matcha. Hope this helps!
