- My first successful run. At first, I tried to beat this as I did on Hard: Pumping out missiles and ignoring the Shields. That didn't work, so I thought I should destroy the Shield Bearers. That also didn't work. Some days ago, I had a little conversation with DystenyKnight, who recommended... ignoring the Shields. I gave it another try and it worked like a charm. Surprised by the easy win I scored, I tried again... and failed. A third try resulted in a very tough end-fight that I just barely won (Brutal End, linked below). I tried to find out what the differences betwen the 2 successful runs were in the comparison video linked below. Also I compiled my fails in a separate video for reasons explained there.

I wish the Barga could pick items up. I got out of it just to run around the field to pick stuff up while whoever was left cleaned up the last 3 Archelus.

That's cause the "weak" enemies are the bigger threat actually especially the laser ones
I’ve seen a horde of spiders, ants (grey, red) and the frogs drain a strike barga in about 5 minutes. Their numbers are no joke.
didn't know they changed it in the later games for the vehicles to scale with difficulty.
You fighting with that shotgun made me think of the Godsmack song Keep Away From Me. Everytime anyone got close and you shot that gun they ran away. Nice job.

we were unable to detonate the alpha warheads for unknown reasons capturing SCP-682 on top priority
On Inferno this whole mission feels like a dice roll. For some reason the Erginuses keep doing their breath attacks the last time I tried it. I don't think I want to try it again - I HATE successes that are dependent on luck.
I know what you mean. The luck factor in this is just discouraging.

what is the difference between brutal end and happy end, is it like all bargas die in brutal and all bargas live in happy?
Pretty much yes. Erginus' lightning breath attack can cost a Barga half its HP. So if they decide to use that attack a lot, the NPC Bargas will go down quickly, leaving you alone for a brutal endfight.

Sadly, no. We only get the Barga in 5. But hey, they look like that because they were originally meant to be cranes.

Only in online mode. Offline, there's an additional tutorial as mission 1.

@@micahplays4939 Yes. In online mode, the tutorial is missing, but missions Despair and Under Siege are added as 108 and 109. That's behind 99/100, so I didn't mention it.
