Fun fact, if you look at the Shell Global company history page, the owner expanded his London antique business in 1833 by selling oriental seashells which laid a foundation for an import-export business. They didn’t start selling oil until the 1880s. Ren is a clever lad 😼

The clip from Who Wants to be a Millionaire was of Charles Ingram who found a way to cheat … so not only a ladder, but example of how money “turns a saint into a sinner.”
Yep, his wife and a friend were in the audience, coughing the correct answers!
Ingram was also an officer in the Army [Major], too... lost his accolades, respect, but no jail time (shock) once all found guilty.

he have not used the nursery rhyme bevore. Money Game Part 2 is older than Hi Ren. In Hi Ren he reference to Money Game P.2 and claim the rhyme as "stolen".

The gentleman who founded Shell Oil started out selling (asian) seashells (near the shore). Charles Bronson got 7 years (1974) for the robbery, stayed in due to attacks on guards and other inmates, and was finally given life for taking a prison worker hostage for 44 hours (1994). Charles Bronson was also a tough-guy movie star from the 70s, notably the "Deathwish" series of movies.
He referenced "she sells sea shells on the sea shore" in Hi Ren. Money Game Part 2 was a couple of years before Hi Ren - he occasionally likes to "shout back" to previous tracks

Considering you were saying it was early morning and you might not be alert - you spotted way way more references and meaning in this video than I think any other reactor I’ve watched. You got way more of the British references, like Farage and almost nailed what 10 Downing Street is (about the only thing wrong was that the Queen wouldn’t go there, the PM always goes to the monarch).
I think you might have even recognised Edward Snowdon as you smiled at seeing him although you didn’t comment.
As I’ve spotted others say, there are some other subtleties in the choice of images - like the choice of /who/ is shown on Who Wants to be a Millionaire (a famous cheat on the show in the U.K.)
Some other little bits I’ve not seen people get - “controversy is the game” and there’s an image of Oswald - also “right out the gate”, in the U.K. Watergate has become a common reference for any major political scandal so we have Party-gate etc - so “tell lies out the gate” is a double.
There’s also the Shell oil reference etc.
There are load more little things like that, but you got way more things than anyone else breaking it down, and funny with it.

What I find so ironic about the seashell bit in this song is he says make them as rare as a diamond. In truth that's exactly what they did. Diamonds are not rare actually. They find them quite often around the world. But because they followed this 10 step economic lesson we are led to believe that they're rare.
It's sad Zack, I actually watched a few reactions to money game part 2 and the "reactors" were floored at how this all worked.
Like this was some kind of new concept that they never heard of or fathomed.
As with many reactors, they were stoned out of their brains. There for this old money game is soooo easy to slide by them because they won't likely notice if a tornado tore through their place as they sat and smoked.
We are in serious trouble because the resistance is pretty much non-existent. PS I personally don't have any problem with people indulging especially after working a long day, but all day, every day is over the top.
Not sure being stoned is the real issue. Being uneducated is worse. Being unaware/being brainwashed by constant advertising, being manipulated by people who want you to buy their products. Not understanding how things work because you are constantly being told that you live in the greatest country, the freest country etc etc etc. If you are not being educated, educate yourself
@@sammyd8860 The top slimy elites/government etc..want you sick/tired/overweight/out of shape/over medicated/drunk/ripped and busy looking over here at the shiny objects while they bankrupt the country under everyone's noses. Education means nothing because the common sense is gone. Paying attention to what they are doing behind closed doors helps but they are arrogant and just leave it out in the open and most don't see or care. After they suck the life and money out of you they want you dead.
@@sammyd8860being deliberately not educated in how the world works and with ever more attempts to hide history is at least part of the problem too. Go to the ‘right’ schools and economics is taught. Go to a poor school and get taught how to flip burgers and not question authority.

Diamonds are not particularly rare it is just one of the best regulated industries hence the comparison with sea shells.
Everyone talks about how tare diamonds are ...lol. If you think about it most married woman have at least 1, there are diamonds in every jewelry store, and pawn shop in the world. That means there are millions of diamonds so how rare are they? A natural pearl is rarer than a diamond. We've been so conditioned to think they're rare we believe it... but really? There are far rarer gems out there.

Sorry I missed the video, when super analysing it and three quarters of the time, speaking with logic explanation. When / if some reactors do it, they show the whole clip without pausing the video, either before or after ofc. And why the last message? It is good, but had zero to do with video, or him etc.
